I would say that IF you have bis trinkets already those are DEF worth upgrading. Following that, all miss Naguura said is right, love your guides and walkthroughs. Got me to play boomie and while I am not particularly good, I do love the class.

As someone that already understands the system and how to prioritize upgrades, your explanations are extremely hard to follow, because you ramble and backtrack a lot. I can't imagine how complicated this sounds to new players. I think a script would help you with these explanation videos to keep it clear and concise.

If you didn't understand this you should keep to upgrading with whelping crests. Since higher content might be too hard for you.

For alts I would just ignore any upgrades or enchantments below Champion level. Crafts can be ignored also.

Drake Crests are so easy to obtain, you can get your full weeks amount by just farming flowers.

My 4th day back in game after a couple of years. The combat system is still the best even if they are being surpassed in other aspects of an mmorpg. I'll have to go cautious here as I'm so new to Dragonflight and just dinged 70 it's mostly going over my head.

as a beginner i want to give you my point of view: i assume this was supposed to go and help new players like me, maybe its just me but, i dont understand half of what you are explaining in this video, you talk fast and say a lot of in-game items and materials that i am not that familiar with yet. i was hoping for a bit of in-game showcase of what you are talking about or some visual help. are you talking about gearing from dungeons > heroic > mythics and then upgrade it in the vendor? or fully upgrade all the gear that i get every time? also, i hoped you will put some emphasis on moonkin gearing or any BiS for the class since you main it. whats a good balance for stat priority? thanks anyways for the video :)

How much better are 2 weapons compared to a staff? Bc this time around it seems it is stronger to have main and off hand, but i prefer 2 hand weapons for transmogs :( but if it is too much damage i lose for that, i dont wanna go for the best transmog xD i couldnt find anything on that topic yet, just that the main and off hand weapons from the raid are the best

Usually 2 weapons are better than one because 2nd enchant! Although there are many 2h weps this patch with effects that are good :)

A 2h weapon has the same stats as 1h and OH, so there is no difference technically and you can go for whatever you want! There is a 1h weapon with a sepcial effect that drops from Fyrakk this patch though

There is 0 difference. Just take what you get. Stats wise it's totally balanced and the end result is the SAME. Don't listen to people telling you it has differences. That would be totally unreasonable by blizzard and it's not true

You can stay with ur transmog but later take best weapon u get either 2hand staff or 2x 1hand just look at stats and GS : Hero>Champ>Veteran

I haven't played at all in DF and I'm SO confused. I'm just planning on leveling up characters before next expansion and gearing them so leveling in TWW will be painless, and this whole crafting system of so needlessly complicated that I have no idea what to actually do with the crest lol

It's actually a very easy system once you know. Every item has base ingredients, then there are "mod" slots to upgrade the item. That's it. The mod slots let you pick the stats you want, increase the item level, or add a power to the item. That's it. That's all.

@@jacobmitchell9227 Can agree that it;s not really complicated as it sounds, but in order to minmax hell yeah it's complicated and we all needs guides thesedays, class discords even and top players are not really in line still at what embelishments are the best so yeah, i am not even sure still what first embelish to craft on my main... but that is all if you want to minmax the first few weeks for casual play it is not that important..

f this shit i already crafted a 476 with my own crest lol (and i do +16 so i got the aspect crest now , could have craftr 486 or using the 476 with renowm later in the week... yes im raging ) , tbh i dont know why this system is so complicated. only payers that are in big guilds etc know exactly what to do before the patch launch ..this video would have been nice days ago not after the real season started :( in resume i lost 45 crest and dont even get my full 486 craft , ifeel like it will cost me 3 ilvl in total

Don’t stress losing 45 wyrm bro.. u will out gear it so fast if u keep grinding m+ and 45 wyrm will give u 3 upgrades on an item .25 each upgrade overall Item level. which is .75 of an item level.. nowhere near 3 item levels

@@jacobmitchell9227 i feel like in 1/2week it will weight more than 0.75% ilevel , crafting 486(so +10 ilvl) +3 upgrade vs just 476 is more than that already also mean im solo player and m+ in solo is all about gear , im 460 timed +18 but getting decline 95% of the time lol (and i play dps warrior which is considered bad this tier, makes it even worst ) but maybe ur right i m kinda stressed out

I think the reason this feels difficult at the moment is because the stress around crafting and optimizing is aimed at people who need their gear to be finished as soon as possible. If you can delay your max ilvl by two weeks the whole risk of doing the wrong choice is basically mitigated by the amount of crests and sparks you can/have got by then.

Wow yet again, has the most convoluted asinine upgrade system. Imagine just having one currency that you use for everything. Or just have it where one crest is for each tier. Instead, they do some weird sliding scale where my gear dropping in 18+ still needs 11-15 key currency. It is moronic. I am astonished with the time-wasting design decisions WoW players put up with every time I come back to this game.
