That will be awesome to put in your own motor and esc. Just watch those diffs. They really don’t like 4s power. 😮. If you do run on 4s. Make sure you have some good grease and the diffs are shimmed accordingly. 👍🏼🚗

@@matthewlarge3785 Yeah they’re pretty fun mate but just a heads up if you do crash it parts aren’t that bad to buy but you will need some upgrade metal parts because I’ll guarantee you’ll break that front part of the chassis underneath if you look you will see the front part of the chassis is a small plastic piece so just a warning. But have fun mate that’s what it’s all about enjoy the time with the family and the car

Hey Alvin. There is no upgrade parts for these diffs, I have looked everywhere. I found out that the hsp diff gears are the same and they are much cheaper. You can buy them on AliExpress very cheap. Just search hsp diff and it should show up. Just make sure you do fill them with silicon oil, as I guarantee they won’t have any in there.

Hey man how you do! I upgrade my motor and esc.. got the 4268 hobby wing 2600kv motor 120amp sc8 hobby wing esc. after a few run like 10-15 minutes car will stop. need to rest for 5 minutes and it will rub again does that happen to your car? I run it with 4s Lipo 50c

Thanks Saxon. From memory , it’s been a while but I think I did upgrade the motor to a 3665 . I can’t remember the KV. I upgraded to motor for cooling issues. I never had cogging issues. I also run a hobbywing wpsp8 esc. Which is a good quality type. Hope this helps. 👍🏼🚗.

@@angesrc yeah the little thermometers are handy! What kv is your stock motor and do you want to stay with just 3s?

@@angesrc ok so with a 15t pinion on 3s personally I would run the 3665 2600kv 4s motor i have in my FS Marauder but you would need at least a 80amp ESC, the max the motor will run is 75amps but it may not hit that on 3s, you could try the 60amp ESC but you may burn it out.
