A very helpfull video. I've looked at Distrokid recently to add my own music and this is looking good. Was wondering though you wrote that you've used "spoken words from a movie" and named the movie, but doesn't that count as Copyrighted material (aka: you do not own ALL the materials in the track) or am i wrong? Just curious. Going to check out that info in the description cause you seem to have a few more interesting videos! :) cheers

Glad this was helpful! I'm not a lawyer, so this is not legal advice, but I did an interview with a lawyer about this subject on my channel (kzbin.info/www/bejne/mKCsgJmVqciDkLs), and my understanding is that you can use samples from movies because it falls under the legal principle of "Transformative Use", and therefore, is fine to use in a song.

Are the KZbin Music, Instagram, and Facebook options any different than typical profiles? For example, my music social media profiles have covers on them. Should these be the accounts I connect there, or do I need a special artist profile?
