This is exactly what I need a mannequin head to practice on. It is what I need to practice flat twist, 2 strands twist, braid and using styling appliances to curl. I'm not good at doing these types of hairstyles. I were dedicated to my stylist doing my hair. This video was done for someone like me. Awesome job Linwood!

Just starting trying to curl my units watching you I'm leaning the direction of the curls as well as temperature i thought the hotter the better i was wrong thank you and you still look great kiss family you know i love all of you god bless

I really appreciated this. I have fine hair and it resists curls that aren’t my natural curl. Definitely trying the spray before curling to create “memory” Plus was never aware of what temp I should use. Now I feel more confident wanting my hair in the distant future when this NY humidity is gone lol

Blessings from Brooklyn, hey Linwood. Good to that you're well. (Not that you were sick in the first place?) I hope more and more companies reach out to you so that we as consumers can see what to purchase and what not to waist our money on. I love the fact that this product has a glove to use to prevent us from being burned. And thank you Linwood for suggesting a better glove to use for better protection against burns. I really appreciated that most of all 😉 Thank God for lessons from a PROFESSIONAL! (Yes I shouted that last word 😁)

Heyyyy. Loved the 15% off wink at 5:03 lol. Would like to see you use the wand with the "balls". Her hair turned out soooo pretty💪🏾💪🏾 Things I learned: Placing nodules against the head 🤯 Spray at a distance; layer sprays for finer, hard to hold curls hair(thts always been my issue) Curl in alternating pattern "You don't bake cookies at that temperature"🤔😳

@GlamFan Hair & Beauty.... I've been watching your videos for years now, And I believe this is the very 1st time and I've made a comment. My twin sister and I are Hairstylist and we've been doing here since we were 14 and I am 47 now and getting very burnt out. I just wanted to say this that most people and I say that in a whole meaning hairstylist themselves I've seen for years your style is doing a good job at achieving the hair stop but they always missed the point when it comes to hair care! I like to give props where props are due and I must say throughout all of these years watching you you are absolutely always on point. You are very diligent in precise when explaining and teaching! Here cares very important Which most people do not realize when going to achieve as style you must consider many many things. Thank ludes text their natural hair pattering as well as scalp conditions, Or they can have a healthy scalp that those things I think are in very very Important. However another thing I would like to say is once they came out with KZbin I never thought that my job whatever be in jeopardy especially at the age I started you know I used to be a time when we hide the products we were using. Also remember there was a time when people couldn't get their hands on most styling products and tools. Do you remember that? I know you probably are much younger than I am and maybe you did not Start out in my time.... But I know for me it is time to throw in the whites out because I got hurt in had a very bare back injury. So like I said my time is running out. But I love the industry although is not the same more. Since there are people who are licensed or even ever worked in the shop ... And have hands on training A lot of them still are on here doing tutorials and learning as they go. I see so many mistakes play yes we both know that mistakes makes you better and this we both know is going to happen when anyone starts out In cosmetology. I used to have a big problem with this but this is just a way of life now with new technology and I'm proud of you that you are still in the game and you also are utilizing the skills in many ways. I know a good hairstylist in you are definitely one not only that a very good teacher. I just wish I knew We have belong in this industry while at the same time I do not want to actually declines any longer because it hurts my back too much. If you have anything that you wish to just to me what would it be? However if you do not I just hope that U read my comment and just know that this is my 1st time making a comment that every time I see your videos I like them all I actually hit like in everything, Let today for some reason I felt compelled to tell you how I felt and to give you The compliment you deserved from me a long time ago! Also I admire how you and your wife work together!! your team is unstoppable!!!!! One ❤ ❤ ❤

Love the video. Yes, do more like this! I typically do my curls with a flat iron and I'm naturally curly 80% of the year. What holding sprays would you recommend and does hair type matter when choosing a spray?
@GetGlamFam
@GetGlamFam 4 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much! My favorite hairsprays would typically be Paul Mitchell’s variable hold hairspray, and Sebastians Shaper Plus hairspray. If you have finer hair and you are working with a firm hold spray, mist from further away for a lighter hold.

Can you do a vid on how often natural hair should be shampoo and conditioned? After a trim on natural hair are the ends suppose to be dry? Also after a trim, what if the ends are so curly that you cant comb through? I know this is a lot but my kids hair is like this and its always dry and i dont know what to do about it.
