TESTIMONIALS
‘Started hitting the moves laid out in these courses the very next class...extremely uplifting to have such a quick improvement in my game’ - Houston, TX
‘I’m the only white belt in the academy doing these moves…I’m suddenly competing at a blue belt and above level…thanks Coach Tom’ - LA, California
‘Some of the best strategies you are going to see for control and submission’ - London, UK
‘The detailed way Prof Tom breaks down his moves into the absolute essentials is just next level for me. This is absolute gold‘ - Sydney, Australia
‘Most of the guys at my Academy, have about 60lbs on me, but since purchasing your ‘Kimura Attack system’ and ’14 days’ everything has changed. I feel much more confident, roll better and the guys on the mat have commented on the same. Thanks, Coach Tom’ - Dallas, TX
‘I know you have your names for your courses, but I’ve renamed them the ‘Zero to hero’ courses, I went from getting constantly owned, to now being completely dominant on the mat in no time at all’ - San Diego, California
‘I use the course material heaps, and just recently put it into action at a local comp, walked away with double gold. No one was more surprised than me! - Miami, Florida
‘As a new white belt, these classes have helped me so much, Prof Tom’s technique, the details, and his attitude. I love how Prof. Tom shows the ‘mistakes people make’ and then shows the correct way of doing things. The only one I have ever seen do this’ - New York, New York
Great videos, great instruction. I just watch them for hours…Melbourne, Australia
‘The instructional saved me big time at a recent comp, my opponent was def more experienced, but that was ok, coz I had Prof Tom’s video in my brain. Nailed it and scored gold’ - Colorado, Denver
‘All of it. Everything you show in your awesome videos are now my ‘go to techniques’. Thanks for your vids Prof, Tom’ - Houston, TX
‘You really have to watch every second of the video because Prof, Tom drops these little nuggets of gold throughout the course. And they make ALL the difference. The only one doing this. Keep them coming Professor’ - NY, New York
‘If I could only be taught from one person, Prof Tom would be it. I can’t wait to train in person one day’ - Dallas, TX
‘Went to a recent competition with these videos fresh in my mind. I knew I had an edge and the confidence this gave me was unreal. Got the gold. All submission wins! - LA, California

Yeah. Grappling dummies aren't bad. I have one myself and the only con I have with him is that he's very heavy (30 dollars dummy from Amazon I filled with clothes). Personally it's really good since I don't go to classes and I've wanted to practice karate and fighting. Personally I think grappling dummies are really good but they're nowhere near the same as a human sadly.

Looks to me likes he's been bashing the poor things pretty hard for some time though ? 🫣🙃 But seriously yeah I don't get all the hate thats dished out amongst especially many bjj guys to our poor asexual, living-challenged, training buddies? The big dummies! Its actually kinda racist when you think about it. Probably. If you're an idiot that is. Like everything else is these days apparently. Or so it seems. 🤪 Nah I actually kinda like them and have two of my own at home, one like the smarty type (but I think better) for ground and other stand up type I prefer for throws and takedowns, suplexes and stand up stuff. Ok on ground too but not designed for it as much. And it can be hanged up for same kinda thing or strikes, pummelsetc. Plus a couple like half dummy's half bags specific for throws and stuff or for ground n pound. When I used to do wrestling more all the schools had them and used them, just another useful training tool. Normal. And yeah of course theyre not a replacement for training with living dummies, I mean people. Just like yt videos shouldn't be a replacement for proper instruction or coaching. But can be a great tool. I suspect theres abit of idk elitism or something going on too... from people or coaches who like live at the gym and are right there and and this shits their whole life n have a bunch of partners and students there they can call on any time to be their practice dummies instead, and don't like the idea of people having a easy, cheap convenient effective way to develop their skills away from the gyms.

If you're considering getting one though and want effectiveness I suggest get one like the white smarty type I got, rather than like my other black one.... as they just tend not to work you know? What? Just trying to help, sheesh! 🤨🤷‍♂️🙄

A fantastic training aid if you can't get to the dojo! Watching KZbin clips and practicing! I filled mine with small bags or sand double sealed then used gaffer tape for protection. Sand can be too heavy so I filled some other bags with saw dust then taped them. Small bags to to get into the small crevices. Old t shirts etc is good as well!

Excellent video* Was trained in Gracie combatives in the infantry (army), where every move is isolated and trained until perfected with direct instruction. Now I am getting into executive protection, and because I am not training to be an mma fighter or trying to get a black belt, I am looking for a very specific way to practice without wasting time constantly in the dojo. I fully understand and appreciate the tine and dedication it takes to become proficient in jiu jitsu, but I am intently focused on my job rather than being involved in a gym, etc. Thanks for the great recommendations*

Great question Paul. We have 2 at the academy (one gd1 and one gd2) however it is more the dragging them around or kids plating on them that destroys them. I also found overcranking submissions wears them . Having said that, the fairtex ones are the best Iv used or owned by far! (-: Coach Tom Davey
