Great explaination. I did my 1st commercial job for Hallmark and did a great job by hand, but a residential I haf to do pole work on took like 6 tries I kept leaving streaks.

can you do a video of how to do floor to ceiling glass? All the pole videos always show either high od windows at waist level. Best technique for doing floor to ceiling glass with minimal bending and pole would be super helpful as I have a bad back. I do straight pulls from top to bottom now with no pull but its killing my back

I get doing this for the interior but why on the exterior? Water fed poles are much easier than having to squeegee outside right? Or am I missing something

Man. Ok I know you talked bout the mod, but where did I go wrong brutha. Took Ettore brass channel duct tape channel length of handle, filed down the prongs on moerman. And got mid window and sucker channel punched me in the face. Lol. You get what I'm sayin?

When I first came to your channel, I criticized your technique, because I saw you going back and forth, side to side about 10 or 12 times fanning down a 2' tall upper window with about a 12" squeegee. I saw another guy commenting on how inefficient it looks too. You really don't take much water off with each pass, so it requires a lot more passes side to side. Is that because if you did try to take more water off with a pole, that the excelerator wouldn't apply the pressure evenly enough to not leave lines behind? I bought the Moerman excelerator with an 18" channel and after cleaning about 10-15 Windows with it, i sent it right back to where it came from, because using it by hand trying to use the most channel length, efficiently, It was leaving trails along the edge of the channel in the middle of the window. I think the 18" was just too large and the pressure/ angle differences required to get the best results, demand a lower efficiency of water removal to channel length ratio. Am I right? I hope I made sense.... lol

If my suspicions are correct, that would explain why it looks inefficient, but when you're only using one tool and zero detailing, i think the proof is in the clock. One thing that bothered the shit out of me was paying $30 dollars for a plastic handle that felt like a Chinese made plastic toy that came out of a bin at the dollar store. And when I closed out, twice the button was triggered, unlocking it to swivel mode, which threw me.

Totally understand!! Yea I probably go back and forth more then needed but the reason behind that is to stay controlled and once you start going to fast with this tool you’ll leave behind skip marks or turn marks. I’ve gotten so use to it especially in the last year that I really enjoy this tool. Now I use this tool with an Ettore brass channel and the glide is awesome with it, the liquidator and me have never become best friends lol 😂

I say all channels are very easy to use!! Just gotta practice what u use everyday. You can be good at whatever you use! EVERYONE HAS THERE OWN WAYS, what works for them.
