Lol, wow seems not too great, but do love the concept. Think something like this could be the future of DIY mastering.

It depends on how you use it. Someone who’s not used to mastering might feel compelled by the presets and automatic features, but that’s not mastering. Although they make it extremely easy it still needs manual work to make it fit your own material.

I'm in film school and obviously audio is a big part. I picked up the iZotopes elements suites on sale for dirt cheap for the noise reduction and it came with Audiolens for free. I am a complete novice when it comes to audio, but from what I can gather from this video is that Audiolens analyses a track, creates an EQ for it, and then you can apply that EQ to other tracks, right?

Yes, that’s the general idea. But I believe is not only EQ what it measures, it’s overall balance, volume, compression, style and feel. Technically it takes a footprint of the original audio and creates a full chain in Ozone based on that. It’s pretty epic to be honest. Doesn’t work flawlessly because every audio is different and you need to tweak it, but it can save you hours of auditioning reference tracks.
