Thank you for this video! One of my favorite parts is that this was “real” as opposed to scripted. I feel this is so much easier to follow!! I do have a question about the Cricut cards. Some of what I purchased actually have one side that is sticky & covered what appears to be the backing that’s on the everyday vinyl. I’m guessing the sticky side would go under the mat? But I’m not even sure why it’s there. What’s your input on that? These are specifically the square Cutaway Cards rather than simply insert cards

I'm so glad you found it easy to follow as I don't do scripted well at all :) - You have cutaway cards! They are different. Instead of being an insert card you take that insert piece and stick it to the adhesive side (removing that backing piece) and then you insert it into the card mat and it will cut out the image you select - you'll remove the pieces and it will show the design like an insert card. I'm actually working on my video for those TODAY! I'll let you know as soon as it's up :). Thanks for being here!

Hello. my name is Frances and I'm trying to use my 2x2 mat. on my canvas all 4 of my cards are the R20 cards. When I get to the preview screen there are only 2 choices for card sizes and neither are the R20 cards. what am I missing?

I am not sure at all why that would be happening. Just to try I would maybe see if making the design a little smaller changes things. If it's too big I would guess it won't give you that option.

How do you get the card mat to release? I have tried making 5 cards in each spot and they still stick so hard that the cards tear apart trying to get them off the mat. I have wasted an entire pack of cards and the mat is still so sticky I'm afraid to put any more cards on it!

Oh I'm so sorry that happened. This is not something I have experienced BUT with other mats if they are too sticky I will remove the cover and then tap it on like my t-shirt or jeans. This helps kind of dull the adhesive but you don't want something like a sweater that sheds!

Hey I'm just curious, you showed you were using R40 cards, but you chose S40. How did you know to do that. Instead of leave it at R40. Or did you switch to the square cards? I'm just confused. But your video was awesome. Just me I think.🤔

I believe when I showed the s40 that was for the ready to make card showing that when I sent it to the mat it was set for R40 and would need to be changed. When I made my own cards they are were all size R40.
