This is the go to video for this product. I was really frustrated importing video into music software Pro Tools. I was getting error messages that wouldn't let me import the video. I kinda new what had to be done, but didn't know how to do it. This video explains which format and how to change other settings.....I had spent many hours experimenting and watching other youtube videos blindly. Now I feel I am on the right track and will get the job done! I must have saved 10 of the same videos experimenting and now I can delete them......except the original. LOL. Thank you so much and you ROCK!

I have a video request! I'd love it if you could maybe make an in depth tutorial about uprezing a bad quality video (I'm not sure if uprezing is the correct term to use here, but simply put I'd like a video about improving the quality of footage.) Everything from colour correction to sharpness to frame rate increase. I've tried it a few tines and it worked out quite nice but man I would love to learn the proper way from you. Thanks! Edit: I used a few plugins to get the work done 1- Twixtor for frame rate increase 2- Mercalli for stabilisation 3- Vegas colour correction tools 4- Audacity for audio improvements

@@MovieStudioZen I'm trying to compress a 20min video and followed through your suggestions and it only does about 7min 59 seconds worth of it. It keeps reading that "queue is finished with 1 error or cancellation"
@MovieStudioZen5 жыл бұрын
1. Open the Queue (press CTRL + Q) and make sure to DELETE anything that may have been left behind from earlier attempts. 2. Also re-boot your computer. 3. Underneath "Open Source" it says "Source". Underneath Source it says Title, Angle, Range...Make sure that the range is set to cover ALL of your video and not just part of it. 4. If there is an error in your original video, it may be impossible to convert. 5. If you still need help, post a message on the Handbrake forum here: forum.handbrake.fr/
@Disheartened65 жыл бұрын
@@MovieStudioZen You're awesome thanks for the reply. Should I delete the previous attempted videos in the folder destination when video is completed also? I click the Range section and it's on Chapters. There's also choice of Seconds or Frames. I'm not sure which one would fall under covering the WHOLE video. Also, I tried doing it on a 3 minute video and it gave me the same prompt before you gave me the list of corrections so it's doing it with any duration. I'll try your tips out👍
@MovieStudioZen5 жыл бұрын
Always delete any new videos that didn't encode properly. The default Range setting is Chapters and it is best to leave it on this setting if you want to encode the whole video. However if you set it to Seconds or Frames and have the wrong setting, it will only encode part of your video. Make sure you are NOT running out of Hard Drive space. If you keep getting an error message, I don't know what would be causing that. That is why I recommend you post your problem on the official Handrake Forum, where you should get more expert helpers. That is the best I can do for you.

*Handbrake on Mac* has an issue of subtitle tracks sections which does not specifically show each language correctly in order to select for *Burned In* when doing with *MKV movies.* I see all available subtitle tracks *appear only* in Chinese or Japanese or Korean even the English subtitle SRT & English chapter SRT. I can't read non-English in this matter. (To import an external SRT into Handbrake to Burned In with the video works fine with SRT Encoding = UTF-8)

Hands down. Best handbrake tutorial that I’ve found thus far. Question, I’m new to KZbin as far as uploading game play videos of me gaming. As my process sits right now, I record out of ShadowPlay and have all my settings to where I need it to be. 1080, 60fps, and 50mbs (bitrate?) shadow play only records in variable so sometimes I must convert my videos via handbrake due to audio dysnc, after this video I realized I’ve been doing it all wrong :D. But once I’ve converted my video video via handbrake I then edit it via adobe premiere. Once I’m done there, I bring it into the adobe media encoder, my question is, am I doing too many encoding steps, and if so, can I just do it all via handbrake one time only and then upload after I’m done in post via premiere pro? Or should I be encoding it twice? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi. Probably a silly question but when converting say an 8GB file to under 4GB to play in fat32 format then on the 'Video' option where there is the 'Quality-Constant Quality' sub option if I selected the maximum Placebo Quality setting would that basically mirror the original file size so therefore I would have to lower it to just under half to get the converted file under 4GB? Many thanks!
@MovieStudioZen4 жыл бұрын
No! Constant Quality does not equal a mirror quality video - it doesn't work like that. Placebo quality can end up being insanely LARGE.

I would recommend using a different program called MKVToolnix and creating .MKV videos instead - that's what I do for all my Subtitled Movies. To do this, you will need the .srt or .sub subtitle Text File for the movie. Download MKVToolnix from here - Windows Installer (64 bit) is the most common. www.fosshub.com/MKVToolNix.html Open program, right-click in top left window (Source Files) and import .mp4 video and .srt subtitle file. Go to Properties on right side and set Language = English Set Force Track flag = Yes Go to bottom and set output folder Then press Start Multiplexing That's it !

Agreed: Care needs to be applied when adding sharpness to your encode as this can be overdone so run experiments. Also under the Filter tab I find reducing noise and block artifacts works well. If you are archiving your old DVD movies to mp4/mkv, some releases have not always been transferred with care by the distributor so Handbrake offers the chance for image cleaning. For users, use the preview window to keep an eye on unnecessary cropping and picture frame position in the Dimension tab. Using Handbrake will bring the required experience for this well authored programme. Thanks for uploading - Liked.
