Hi Mike; just used one of your earlier how to videos to flash the BIOS on my MSI B550M PRO-VDH WiFi so I could use it with my Ryzen 5 5600. This gives me PCIE 4.0 for my Samsung 980 Pro and my RX 7600.

Good video. Big tip. KIngston DataTraveller drives don't work. I have best success with Sandisk (cheap at local Post Office) and use a new one for each mobo. The flashing is done by the smart chip that is used norrmally for also controlling the boot process. Would be good if they used the debug leds to indicate progress (by blinking) and Success/Failure

Thanks for doing this but what is all this BIOS file renaming palaver all about then? Why can't the manufacturer simply name it correctly for us? Or might it get erroneously flagged by some anti-virus software?

I watch a lot of YT Video Sites and I wonder why as a general matter of course, (other than Live Streams obviously) an "Newly" released video on your channel is invariably a month out of date. This usually results in the information given out of date also. And as stated above, out of all the channels I watch you are by far the worst offender. Of course for me it really doesn't matter because I am aware of this fact so check given information anyway, but for a complete "newby" this out of date and possibly incorrect could have some bad results for that person. So with that in mind a "Disclaimer" should be highlighted at the begining of these videos.

most youtube videos from larger sized channels release to paid members in advance so that is likely why you are seeing a new video being older than the release date
