Absolute legend, I was freaking out because my pc wouldn’t boot and the debug lights kept coming on. Simple bios flash fixed this. Keep it up

do i have to plug the usb drive in the bios flashback port if i update the bios from the bios using the mflash? and if i want to use the bios flashback button and i don't want to disassemble system before doing it, is there any risk? also where i am from there tends to be a lot of powercut. but i have a ups. which way is relatively safer for me to update the bios?

mflash can use any port, usb flashback has to be the specific port

if the CPU is not supported it will be necessary to flash first. If the CPU IS supported you can update at your leisure

it is possible, or the bios version you are trying to flash is wrong, it is easily done, triple check the motherboard name and revision

Thank you very much, your videos work always for me, but this time , I did everything as you mentioned and nothing happens. I get no display and the keyboard and mouse LEDs are turned off :( I did clean CMOS and repeat the procedure, but again the same result

sounds like a possible short circuit if the USB ports are not active at all

MSI PRO B650M-A WIFI = its the red USB just above the WiFi, left one - against the back end side panel. None of the other USB's worked for me. Hope this helps someone :)

@@mikesunboxing Is there any way to like get this usb (brand new usb 2.0 flash drive maxell 32gb) working because its done it multiple times with same result of 5 flashes and turning off. Its mbr, fat32(tried the other forms too), ive even changed the size to 8gb on the disk management and that didnt work. none of the bios versions ive tried have worked either. ive been recomended to get a "worse" usb stick which i have none of neather does the closest shop.

This whole msi motherboards needing to be bios upgraded is a nightmare for someone whos got barely any experience with pc building, i mean i did fix the dram issue by switching the ram stick slots around but i cant really do anything with the set up untill the cpu red led light turns off and everyone helping me has told me to do this upgrade thing either my usb or motherboard cant deal with other than that it should be all ok

If you have this same issue its most likely the usb stick being "too good" needs to be 8gb min/max
