HOW TO USE NFC ON SAMSUNG PRINTERS

I truly have to thank you! When I first bought this printer and I called the help desk at Samsung and I asked the woman how can I directly print from my phone, she said I need a modem or a WiFi station. I told her I don't think I need that since it's coming from my phone and she said I could not print directly from my phone. She didn't even tell me about the NFC option. So thank you so kindly. Now I can print from my phone, my tablet and not have to keep forwarding things to my computer. Truly helpful!

The app is definitely needed and once set up correctly you can print directly from the phone.

There's kinda fake NFC connection! There is a sticker with chip under printers top cover (you can open and see it). That chip has information for a smartphone how to connect to printer via WiFi direct. Basically you are still using WiFi to print your files and you can connect to that printer via WiFi direct without NFC.

It seems to me that you printed via wifi, to print via NFC you need to touch the phone over the NFC logo, it only has a 5cm range ....

It's terrible. I work in a tattoo shop and I always waste about an hour just trying to print off my customers designs cos it's so shit.

I don't think the process is that long. You just need to tap to NFC logo on the printer, and select any docs or photos you wanna print. As simple as that.

If you are that smart, can you help me? I have mobile print app in my phone (Huawei-android). I can only print using wifi, not NFC. when i tap my phone, nothing happens. Is it only for samsung phones or is there some other special app?

HATE this printer. it only works on ly old phone 1 in 10 times, and with my brand new xperia 1 is didn't work. I sent that back cos of problems with is and got an Huawei P30 and it couldn't find that either. Proper shite printer haha
