Superb! What a great finishing lesson to the chapter, I really enjoyed that thank you. Just to let you know, there is a slight error in the book on page 155, in the table on row "de + lequel" and column "Fem. Pl" it states "Auxquelles" instead of "Desquelles" but nothing big. Looking forward to Chapter 3 next 👍🏻

The heading on page 153 , quel is an interrogative pronoun, Then quel is an interrogative adjective. I thought it was a mis print. After going around in many circles, finally I read it can be both. Vrai ?
@TheperfectfrenchwithDylane3 жыл бұрын
No it is a misprint. I think I had the title for quel and lequel then separated them and left the wrong one. So quel is the adjective and lequel is the pronoun ;) at the end it doesn’t change much because they both agree in gender and number :)
@Mil-w6d26 күн бұрын
Can you say lequel as-tu commandé ? And if yes - what is the difference between lequel and quel in that sentence
@TheperfectfrenchwithDylane25 күн бұрын

Hi Dylane! Great video as always, by the way. I have to ask though. In the LingoPie advertisement before your video, they keep showing the scene where the guy says, "La putain de bonne actrice!". Isn't 'putain' a pretty bad French word? :-)

Greg I don't choose the ad playing on videos but yes, it's a very familiar word :)

Merci beaucoup. Merci d'avance.
@TheperfectfrenchwithDylane2 жыл бұрын
Lequel est ton téléphone = which one Quel est ton téléphone = c'est quoi ton téléphone (marque/modèle) :)

Respectfully it is not like english (I'm not a native english speaker even so I'm not defending my language but even in my language also what is just what wherever it lands). what and that rules in french are so confusing. Taken from a vocabulary memorization approach without a sentence context it is impossible to understand which is a huge problem. A language should be built to be logical, not to be a maze. Subject, object, pronouns, adjective, then add prepositions or est-ce qui or est-ce que. Oh my god. Now I'm also looking at ce qui and ce que and ce dont and I have no real grasp when to use which. If I looked at french sentence I can guess its meaning in english but if I look at the english sentence and think if I wanted to translate this to French I would not guess it was this word or words combination. It is not your fault in anyway but even when there is an excellent teacher like you and it is still a maze this is infuriating.
