In order to get your configurations applied in the mouse(if your software is not working), run the software as administrator ->edit the configurations->unplug the mouse and plug it again->hit apply and the configurations will now apply into your mouse.

@@markceniza3561 Yeah. Even set it to airways run as admin in compatibility settings. As well as manually running it as admin. I uninstalled it. Added it as an exclusive in system security settings and reinstalled it as admin. Tried unplugging it and plugging it back in. Nothing. I am on Windows 11 though. Not sure if that matters.

Probably determines how fast or slow you can double click things. Like if you need to double click on something to open it, this setting would probably change that double click speed.

Late comment here, but maybe newer folks will find this useful if their configurations aren't applying to their mouse. First, as stated many times, you need to run the application as an administrator. You will notice a red progress bar that shows up when you click apply and ok when you do. Now if it doesn't apply to your mouse, there's a good chance that your windows security may have blocked it and prevented it from making changes to your files. In that case, I reinstalled the application again and before I ran it, I added it as an exclusion to the windows security and it worked after. It may not work if you don't reinstall because sometimes it may delete some files that it detects are a threat causing the application to not work properly. Hope this helps.

Just received my Redragon Impact mouse today. Everything works spectacularly with this mouse. However, my only gripe is that when the cyan color swatch is selected, the color shows up as a shade of purple within the color slider. Found this odd, but enjoying this mouse none-the-less.

Is it possible to macro the holding down the left mouse button that is the click to move in action rpgs to the middle button. If so how would I do it. Do I use a delay and the repeat . This is to enable me to play action rpgs and instead of clicking to move i.e. autoclick I can just toggle the middle mouse and I can navigate without clicking further nor would I have to hold down the button either.

I tried this but it didn’t work. What worked out of sheer luck was that my mouse is the M901-k-2 model and when I downloaded the M901 software it didn’t work. Instead I tried to look if there’s a mouse that looks like mine with the DPI changer buttons like mine and tried its software and when I browsed through the changes I saw my mouse colours shifting when I click apply. That’s where I knew that it’s working. Bottom line download the software of a red dragon mouse that has the same features as your current mouse.

No clue honestly, haven't used this mouse in several years. When this issue did occur it was because software version and exact mouse model didn't exactly match. All I could suggest is contacting Redragon support at redragonshop.com/pages/contact-us sometimes they can give more updated versions of software to try directly that aren't on their website.

Is there a way to reduce the distance at which the sensor catches on your mouse? I am used to very small lifts if i wanna readjust my hand and this red dragon mouse needs me to lift my hands quite considerably in order for the sensor to stop catching what i'm doing. It's not good if you want to move your hand and re-adjust fast and it's bothering me A LOT.

I can't configure the DPI buttons and change them to something else with the current version of the software. I 'upgraded' from the wired MMO mouse they do because one of the buttons stopped functioning correctly (more my fault than a fault of the mouse itself, which is why I got another), so it's a bit of a bummer.

My question is NOT Shown in the video. My mouse is an m908 and the software looks quite different but the mouse itself looks the same. When reprogramming my mouse buttons, I can set one of the buttons by clicking the drop down and then... Advance -> Sniper (It also has "Single Key", "Combo Key", and "Fire Key") (The "Advance" drop down in the video has contents moved to other organized drop downs like "Windows" in my software). Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knew what "Fire Key" and "Sniper" does? Sniper comes with a setting between 200 and 1100 but when playing, the button did nothing.

Per the manufacturer: Yes, the mouse has 5 on-board memory profiles. You can program each profile to your liking with the software. Once you're done, you no longer need the software loaded, you can just switch between each of the 5 profiles with the mode switch on the bottom of the mouse.

Surprisingly enough combo keys aren't recognized inside games, such as Ctrl, shift, alt + 1. Is there a fix to this? Would like to completely sepparate the mouse from the keyboard. Been looking for a solution to free the F keys.

This is really interesting. It appears that Red Dragon made the software for this mouse with a lot less abilities then the previous versions. I would love to know why. Can no longer have different profiles as far as I can see. And it appears to be less lighting options. Normally, companies give MORE options, but it seems this one gives less. Odd.

There is no way I know of to bind the "Windows" key as it is a key that functions outside scope of any application, however if you want to macro to minimize a window just create a macro for "Alt + Space bar + N"

No unfortunately not, the buttons must map to a key. However, you can use SHFT or CTRL + a key to make it so it doesn't conflict with a standard key, like CTRL and KEYPAD + or - or some obscure keys you likely would never use or accidentally conflict with. I actually no of no mouse software that will just use MOUSE BUTTON 4, 5, 6, 7 because there isn't Windows standard for them. If I recall, Windows only supports natively functions for mouse 4 and 5, as forward and back period. So what the software is doing is overriding those and tricking Windows into thinking those extra mouse buttons are keyboard keys.

Is there a way to make side buttons as button 1 through 12 rather than keyboard number 1 through 12? The problem I'm running into is having lean left and lean right set to 1 and 2 but then I cannot switch to my weapons because it's keyboard 1 and 2. You can make the side buttons act as LMB and RMB (Mouse Button 1 and Mouse Button 2), bit if you are talking about "custom" buttons that have no definition, then now, they have to map to a keyboard key (or combo) or a mouse button.

Can you save your settings into the mouse, so it has the same button layout / macros / etc even when using it without the software? For example, set up macros and custom keys with the software, save, then use the mouse with a different PC that does not have the software.

Yeah so when tested I had the software disabled/process not running and the mouse retained the "customizations" after a reboot. It does save them outside of the software, the mouse itself has 5 memory profiles.

It has been almost 2 years and I no longer have this product to test, so I can't confirm if the profile savings is in the local computer registry or mouse itself. The most common cause for this is not running the IMPACT software as administrator, you have to right click and run as administrator or the software won't have the "write" permissions to save your profile/configuration changes. If not, then ensure you have the right and latest version of software specific for you mouse.

the latest version of driver has lousy configuration, you can't set combo key of spacebar+ whatever anymore. you can't rename the profiles for the game you set up for. the driver that came with the mouse I bought about 6 or 7 years a go to works fine, combo spacebar+ whatever works. love the mouse M901

The company does not support Mac at all with it's software only Windows, so Mac you only get Plug n Play support unless you have a Windows PC to configure the device and save settings then they will work when using on a Mac for most of their Mice/Keyboards.

Most of their mouse models have on board memory to save the config and macro's so they work without the software being open and running.

For F13, simultaneously press SHIFT and the F1 key. For F14, simultaneously press SHIFT and the F2 key. For F15, simultaneously press SHIFT and the F3 key

I am new to WOW and all of this. Just got this mouse and was able to keybind the numbers to things I use BUT I am trying to figure out how to create a macro so I don't have to hold down either the W or both clicks to move. My old mouse (with only 3 buttons) randomly had a key that was assigned that function and I would like to add it to this this. Any one know how? I have tried just creating a macro with a downstroke W but nothing happens. Keybinding to W works but then I have to hold it. Clearly we're talking first world problems here but damn WOW maps are huge to have to hold down the button all the time flying around.

Unfortunately I am not able to provide tech support, I had 1 mouse model and 1 install of the software, I know if the SW and HW doesn't match then it doesn't work and you have to run the software as administrator. If that doesn't do it, then you have to contact their support www.redragonzone.com/pages/support
