I'm half Swedish and half Finnish, and to be honest, the things you say are very familiar. I'm sure we are brothers and sisters somehow, even though we look so very different (normally. I actually look more italian or greek or something), we have so much in common. I find that very interesting, because it cannot be a coincidence. I've noticed that many Finnish people are heavily inspired by indigenous culture. No joke, you can go to ANY Finnish home, and you will find something that are indigenous 100% of the times. Also, thank you for some info, this house needs a sage, a priest and a shaman to get rid of the bad spiritdemonghosts kthxbai :D

Good info...still concerned abt my smoke alarm but plan to test it out to know once and for all since incense seems ok to use. Question: when smudge stick burns out, is it still reuseable or does it need replacement? Miigwech!

Thanks for your question Miriam! There are actually a couple of ways to smudge with sage. If you think you don't need the whole smudge stick to smudge, you can take the bundle apart and only use the amount that you think will be enough. The strangest thing happened. I smudged a couple of papers a few hrs ago. What was on the paper sadly didn’t happen.🥺It truly was a sad day in our house. But! the person that was connected with the paper called about 2hrs ago🤔😳😐. It freaked my husband and I out lol! Was this a coincidence?? 🆘DID I MAKE A MISTAKE?! 🥺 I was just wanting to remove any negative energy off of it even tho this happened a few months ago. We were really bummed about how it all went down. With really not getting a clear answer 😢AND THE PHONE CALL FROM THAT PERSON STILL BROUGHT NO. CLARITY…. DID I DO SOMETHING WRONG?

Hi and thanks for your question! Sorry to hear you've had that experience. I would recommend trying to begin the smudge thinking only about positive intentions, and gratitude to creator/spirit first, asking for positivity and peace to enter your space, etc, perhaps also for your ancestors and helpers to protect and guide you (so the theme is positivity instead of giving anything negative attention). Then smudge the item, all the while asking creator to bring you positivity and happiness etc... You did nothing wrong, and the phone call was 100% not triggered by you at all. Id also recommend burning a little sweet grass also :)

I'm a bit concerned as my neighbor is going to spray the surface of their drive with toxic coal tar in a few days . They obviously aren't thinking about the impact on the environment , everything about it is bad . Especially with the warmer weather of Summer not too far away , it will off gas into the air and pollute the ground . I asked them if it was really necessary & they said they were going to do it regardless of impact on environment . Therefore , I need to stay calm and burn plenty of Sage to ward off their negativity , I might have to move in the future .

They think it's " improving " their property when really it's equivalent to dumping hazardous chemicals onto it . Peace to the Earth .
