I love the Puppy collection, I use it for my poodle's weekly bathing. It leaves his coat so well conditioned that even when he missed a bath there was still no knots or matting at all... wish me luck for when coat change comes. he's only 8 months old just now.

Poor puppy. Bathing every week? 😳🙄How much chemicals is she exposed? I bath my dogs once in year !!!! Brushing is plenty to keep them clean. Nobody ever said to me that my dogs smell.

My lhasa apsos get bathed when they get cut, every 10 weeks. Their hair doesn't shed, it simply grows like human hair. I let them be dogs, so they run through fields and mud and roll and alsorts. On occasion I have to bathe them myself, as dirt simply can't always be brushed out. Usually only once between their proper cut/bath at groomers. If their coats weren't maintained like this, the dirt and knots would be a painful, walking mat. It depends whether you have a shedding coat dog, (which I assume you have) or a non-shedding double coated dog. I do agree, once a week seems very excessive. I use a gentle, non-stripping, natural ingredient shampoo and only as a necessity, at most once every month. 🐕

@sardemari shampoo and conditioner usually does contain chemicals, like the human version. How many of the ingredients on the bottle could you go out and buy.. they're chemicals. However, I admit that you can get lovely products nowadays that contain more natural ingredients and have way less chemicals. For humans and dogs. Which is great 👍
