@@StreamYard Oh boy thats a loaded question! lol 1. Hotkeys - makes my show flow much more efficient 2. Slides - I plan content around slides, since I don't have many active viewers starting out right now 3. Starred Comments - this will be huge once I get more active viewers P.S. I love that you are working on having a list of updates and when they get released. I want to spread StreamYard to my community by giving them monthly videos of updates that StreamYard is making. I saw that you just updated the list of what's included in each plan. Subtle, but I think it has a great flow to it!

Hello! It's a great feature! We have a lovely guest who likes to pick out the questions from the audience. Is there any way for the guests to see the starred comments but not necessarily have control? I'm new and fresh to StreamYard so please forgive me if it's a silly question.

Great question. The only way they could do this is to be part of your team, and then assign them the appropriate permissions. Have you tried StreamYard Teams? streamyard.com/teams Christian Karasiewicz 🦆

Good morning, a couple of solid followers have offered to become moderators as they know his difficult it is to run a broadcast single handedly. There is also the issue of spammers which they can take care of. Is there anything Streamyard can do to handle soamners ?

Hi Charlie. That's something you'll want to handle for your broadcast. Most platforms such as KZbin, Facebook, etc do some sort of check, but you'll want to go in and moderate your comments, whether it's you, someone you add using StreamYard Teams. Keep in mind, you can also go into KZbin and set to hold comments, restrict certain types, URLs, block certain keywords, etc. I think all we do is make comments available based on what comes in from the platform and likely don't have the ability to moderate them - that's really where your own team comes in, but you're welcome to submit this as a feature request and we can see what we can do. streamyard.com/contact Christian Karasiewicz 🦆

Question! Is there a way to feature comments but only show the comment and username? Sometimes you may want to include a comment or member but the icon or image is inappropriate for your audience / community. Is there a way around this? I often see comments on stream in twitch and other streamers that don't show the user icon. Please let me know!

So you do this before you share the video and the comments pop up on the screen as video plays?

No. You flag comments in the backstage area. When you click the star, it will create a separate area for comments you’ve started. When you want to display them, you can easily find them. Christian Karasiewicz 🦆
