I've tried this method on my friend's 2060 Super, and surprisingly this method was able to reduce the total power consumption of 4 vga units by 130Watt (26% of the previous total) without reducing the hash rate. this is epic!

You are absolutely right, that normally the closest server is best. East USA should be closest for me, but when I pinged it and the Europe one, Europe came back with a lot less ms (time). I tested it a couple of times, shrugged my shoulders, went for it, and haven't had any issues with stale shares. I should probably check again. Whatever path the internet might have had to follow, or the U.S. server may have improved it's response rate.

how do I know which algo to use? I was using claymore on Binance pool as I already have a binance account and ETH will be put into my binance wallet for me to trade. Hi!, if you want to specify individually OC parameters for each card (Imagine you have 3080, 3070, 3060 Ti...), can you specify that in .bat file using parameters (I know it can be done for 1 card) or do I need to use AfterBurner for more than 1 card and put OC Parameters individually for each card?. Yes, you can. Each parameter that you need to set you give it comma separated values (-lgc 1000,1050,1000)... You have to identify the ID of each card, that is, the order in wich T-Rex recognize your hardware.

I have a problem using t rex on windows 10 using 5 vga from nvidia, which are rtx 3090, 3 rtx 3070 and a 1080 ti. I get an error that says exactly this: "not enough memory to hold the full DAG for epoch 428". I could only solve it by putting a paging file on the hard disk of the pc. Do you know if the problem is because I am using only an 8GB ram stick in the mining rig?

Awesome! Trex doesn’t handle your payouts at all, it’s just a software that runs the mining calculations on your computer. The payouts are handled by the pool you add to the .bat file (for example ethermine or flexpool). Good luck!

ok so maybe i missed something important. but when using windows can you please go over what is required to keep it stable? for me i cant see to run more than 5 GPUs with issues. 4G is one, virtual memory is extended to total of gpu memory. PSUs for powering cards is ample. is there a certain version/update of windows you use? im running a ryzen 1600 with 8 gig of ram. a video on how to run stable or troubleshooting when mining in windows would be awesome

You get the same mh/s but Nicehash takes a percentage of your profit, so if you mine directly you get more profit! You can check out whattomine.com/ and fill in your GPUs and electricity cost to get a more accurate number but for example with five 3080s you currently get $50.27 with mining directly and $47.66 with Nicehash per day. So seems they take about 5%.

Does this come with preconfigured clock settings, that maybe stack with the afterburner settings? I only got a single 1060 6GB card that i clocked to get 21mh/s on average with the lolMiner. Today i decided to try the T-rex (for maybe 10-15 minutes) and only got 16-17 mh/s using the same clock settings. By overclocking the core clock, i got up to over 19 mh/s with the T-rex. Probably the biggest issue i personally have with the T-rex is that it makes my system *really* laggy (i literally could not even watch a YT video), and i have to reboot the entire computer to get it back to normal. With lolMiner, the system works almost as good as without this miner running. The Ethminer was also somewhat laggy, but not as bad as T-rex... Still, the hashrates seemed similar to the T-rex...

Hm well you probably shouldn’t overclock in both afterburner and trex. As a default trex doesn’t add any clocking settings to your card. However I’ve heard a few people say that the memory tweak works for “fixing” the hashrate of slower 1060 6GB. Can you try doing the mem tweak as I show in the video at 11:14 and tell me how it went please? Basically just add --mt 1 to the end of your .bat file for trex (at the end of the row before pause) and see if that works without crashing, then closing trex and changing it to --mt 2, seeing if that works, and then repeating either until your card becomes unstable/crashes or you reach --mt 6. Probably best to not have anything else open on your computer while you do this. You need to run your bat-file as administrator for it to work so right click and hit run as administrator. Good luck!

Sometimes the trex miner detects the 3070 but the GPU crashes after 5 min and Trex continous to mine without it.
