How to use the Bios Flash Back Button on the GIGABYTE B650 AORUS ELITE AX Motherboard BIOS Update

Been building PCs for decades, but never had to use the bios button before. Your guide really helped, thank you. I have the same board with a 7800X3D if anyone else is struggling. I had the DRAM light on, and once the bios updated it booted straight up. You need to wait 5-10 mins for it to work

Same setup here, also the DRAM light on. But as soon as I push the Q-Flash button my PSU immediately shuts off... is it part of the prep or?

My issue ended up being the motherboard coming in doa.

For me, I only had to click it once. I had to find a paperclip to press the button.

I have this motherboard and I updated to the latest bios yesterday and the system won't boot to Windows at all... The boot red light is always on.. after pass the Aorus logo.. its shows black screen with a little white stripe on the top of the left corner..

@@YomomsAHoerse Yes by reinstalled the windows... That's resolved the solution...I don't now how.. but it's seems the bios didn't recognize the boot system after updating.. is annoying..but yeah now it's working again..

I followed your instructions to a t, or at least I thought. I'm not sure where I went wrong or how I even could in the first place with how well you explain everything. Still left on version F2 despite updating. I guess I'll try again, your video is far better than Aorus's own guide but neither can account for my own incompetence I suppose.

i have a friend he built he's pc same mb and keeps getting dram red light .i told him to flash he's bios and he's saying q flash is not working its he's 1st build .im worried he's done damage . he did have a no boot because he's saying he put to much CPU paste he cleaned it up and started booting but then dram came up .i have no clue what's he's done

That's not how updates work. F6a would contain all of the fixes from earlier updates. You can always "skip" to the latest one.

This was glossed over a bit. A lot of people wouldn't know how to do this.

Look at your motherboard manual, see the two pins that the power switch connects to. Those are the two pins that you need to short with a screwdriver. Every motherboard is (probably) different, but you should find that information in the manual.
