How To Use The Light Mixer in Unreal Engine 5 | Easy

I love this new(er) tool in Unreal Engine 5 (added in 5.1). Getting the lighting just right is a huge contributor to the success of any image, and the light mixer just makes lighting so intuitive. In this video I demonstrate the basics of using the light mixer (it is really simple), and show how artists can use it to change the mood of there scenes quickly and easily, or just get all the different lights perfectly balanced. If you aren't using the light mixer yet, it's time to integrate it into your workflow.

Hello, will the lights be turned on and off in the sequencer for output rendering or do you need to control them from the sequencer separately with other methods?

The light mixer does not control lights separately from other methods. It would do the same thing if you went into each light individually and adjusted settings. Therefore, the light settings you set in the mixer will also show up in the sequencer when you render.
