Thank you for sharing! They are not cheap compare to other shops, however they are easier to buy online if you don't live in Japan. I have been to their actual shops in Tokyo Nakono Boardway building which has lots of secondhand toy shops which is My must go place when I travel to Tokyo. You should definitely go check out that place when you go to Tokyo. Then you will see what I'm talking about. 😬. But I did purchase a couple of things from them because the other shops didn't have the items n they do tax free, so still pretty good

I'm pretty careful with buying items that aren't marked with a condition or say they're a lower condition and I take a close look at photos if available. The only items i've bought that were 'opened' were vintage 1990's things like stationery and they came in good condition

How does shipping with the Sahara Store work? Do you have to pay shipping for each item?

Shipping depends on location, not on the amount of items. If all the items you buy are from 1 location, no matter the location, you pay shipping once. But if you buy from 3 locations you pay shipping 3 times.

DHL tends to be pretty pricey but it always depends on weight. EMS is currently not available due to covid.

This really varies and I won't be able to answer that. Customs is a total mystery to consumers, and we generally have no idea how much the cost will be til a product lands in our country of residence. But fwiw I live in the USA, I try to keep international packages to a value of under $500, and I've only had to pay customs twice (in both cases it was for packages with a value over $600)

you can enquire to cancel however if you do this multiple times most likely you will be blocked from purchasing. because since you already have a confirmation already they consider the sale final i actually have cancelled once in my whole history with buying from Mandarake, if your wanting to know the total cost including shipping maybe drop them a enquiry before submitting your order

It fluctuates but yes, generally converting yen to usd is as easy as moving the decimal point two places. So if yen is 9820. Move that decimal two spaces to the left, and the usd would be 98.20 (this is never exactly correct but you can check it quickly on google - just google 9820 yen to usd and google will tell you the current conversion).

On the Mandarake website, we have to pay for shipping fee while on the Ebay Mandarake page, the shipping fee is free, but the cost of any items doubles! I am glad that I chose to buy directly from that website! :)
