Oh no, back to tuning radios ... takes me back to about 1972. A row of Faraday cages, oscilloscope, multimeters, gee that was along time ago. Thanks for the update new technology one must learn a little each day . Take care.

Luckily no where near that complex, but so many pilots miss this step and potentially sacrifice range and connection quality... Happy flying

Thank you! I have to try this on my TX16s because I'm getting an RSSI critical warning on my Turbo Timber Evolution (Spektrum AR637TA BNF). The setup on the radio went great, no reverse thrust, everything else is perfect. But these RSSI warnings are keeping me on edge, even though the plane is about 500m out when it alarms.

This is great stuff Lee! So I would only need this with a multi protocol module and if it has the fine tune option on the first page of model setup?

It flies fine without a extra receiver on MPM with OMP protocol. You even get vbat telem.

Hello! thank you for your videos, helped me aaalot. I recently bought DLG with a Multiplex receiver built in, all very tight and servos soldered one by one to save space/weight.. the thing is that I have Taranis X9 lite and I am thinking on buying one of those multiprotocol iRange iRX4 to save the work of buying a new receiver and then identify and solder the 14 wires.. but I am not sure if the iRX4 also supports Multiplex protocol. Do you know if they do?? thank you!!

Hiya, thanks for all your videos. I am slowly learning how to fly and OMP M2 EVO. when I look at the RSSI reading when trying to tune the Futaba satellite receiver plugged into the sbus receiver socket on the built in fbl controller the RSSI stays at 00. I'm getting mixed messages on my internet searching. Can you confirm when using the OMP Futaba compatible satellite receiver wether the tx output frequency can be fine tuned with the supplied module? Thank you .🎉

Best place for detail is the projects documentation... www.multi-module.org/using-the-module/protocol-details/sfhss Some features may vary with the version of firmware used. best of luck

I did this with all my Radiomaster RX's using my TX16s and it didn't work on any of them? They have practically no range and i can't use them on any of my flying models.

Any reason I should have different final fine tune values between models with the exact same receiver? Could this be from different antennas and antenna placement? I have one transmitter model controlling multiple drones and this has me rethinking that decision.
@Painless360

It could be a lack of consistency in the frequency in the receivers you are using. Things like very cold or hot temps can affect the frequency they transmit at as the oscillator drifts..

@@Painless360 Interesting. Temps should be the same since its inside. Maybe its the receiver - FrSky R-XSR.
