My answer may not be perfect, but here is what I like to explain to people. I hope it helps: Osteoporosis means you have weakened areas of bone, prone to fracture. Imagine how a high-pitched frequency shatters glass or a mirror. Your bones are susceptible to the vibration that travels through them. Is it a guarantee that the low-level frequency of the OTTO 128 will cause an issue? No. But there is some concern with continued use on an osteoporotic bone. Truth be told, there is some evidence out there that those full-body vibration platforms are quite useful for stimulating bone growth, and, in some cases, are being used to treat people with osteoporosis. This is a very different mechanism of action, however, than the localized vibration of a tuning fork, so I hesitate to compare them. Of course, you are free to do as you like, but I tend to be extra cautious, especially when teaching on KZbin, as I am not able to see you with my own eyes and evaluate your personal needs. I would say if you want to use your OTTO 128 on your body, perhaps avoid direct contact on the areas of osteoporosis. Meaning, if you have osteoporosis in your lumbar spine/hips, you would want to use your tuning fork away from those areas, on the face, skull or feet, for example. Also, please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns. Thank you so much for watching and supporting the channel. I appreciate it immensely.

Great tutorial and very informative, thanks. Question ; is it optimal / more beneficial to have the knee bent ? What are the pros and cons for straight leg v's bent knee? Is it just a case of try it, and go with which ever feels best ?
@BELightTT3 жыл бұрын
Hi @MildManneredMercifulMouse This is a great question! Thanks so much for asking. Honestly, a lot of times, I just choose a position that is easiest for filming, LOL. It is not important that the knee be bent. In fact, I would suggest you choose a "comfortable" position, over anything else. I do tend to like the bent knee for myself, ONLY because the skin is pulled more tautly, and so I can really easily find and connect with those bony landmarks. But absolutely, you can do this with bent or straight leg. Hope that helps!

I would appreciate any advice about working with human organ tuning forks? Much gratitude in advance!
@BELightTT Жыл бұрын
@znmstr78 Hi, Claudia! Thanks for the question. Honestly, I have no idea what "human organ tuning forks" are. That sounds like some sort of trademarked product. Is it? I find in the sound healing world, there is no end to the various trademarked products, each supposedly good for just one aspect of the body. I'm sure there is much value in that, but I don't tend to work that way. And I certainly cannot speak to someone else's method with any amount of competency. If you have found something specific online, I would highly recommend reaching out to the creator directly to get instructions for the best way to use those particular forks. That will be the best way to ensure you are using them correctly and with the greatest amount of efficacy. I hope this helps! Thanks again for stopping by the channel. I appreciate you.

Can this technique be used on knee replacements? Thank you for your content!❤
@BELightTT Жыл бұрын
@jilloleary8005 It's a great question. My safest answer is, of course, to ask your orthopedic surgeon.😉 Having said that. I am of two minds of it. 1. I always caution people to be mindful near replacement joints or metal parts in the body, as I'm always a little concerned that repetitive vibration of the area does have the possibility of loosening any hardware, bolts, screws, etc. 2. It also depends how recent the surgery was, but my feeling is that more modern replacement parts are quite sturdy and I imagine they are designed to stand up very well to the test of time. I also think, overwhelmingly, the tuning forks are incredibly gentle and you'd have to really use them quite a bit to disturb your knee replacement. As I'm teaching on KZbin, and I am not able to assess you at all, I always will err on the side of caution, but in the end, it will have to be your decision. Do I believe you will most likely be totally fine using the tuning fork around the knee? Yes, I do. And do I feel you may also get some relief of any pain, swelling, inflammation that you are experiencing there? Yes, I do. But I definitely cannot give you concrete guidance on this one, Jill. I hope you understand. And honestly, even if it seems weird to ask, you may want to run it past your knee doctor, just to get a sense of his/her professional opinion. I hope this helps. Thank you so much for stopping by the channel. I really appreciate it.

Thank you. I use a hockey pock for tapping instead of my knee. As others have asked, is it better with a bent knee.
@BELightTT3 жыл бұрын
Hi, Bonnie! Thanks for watching. Yes, a hockey puck is a great idea. It definitely saves the knees 😉. Thank you for offering that suggestion. 🙏 And no, it does not matter if the knee is bent or straight. I chose that position for filming, because it was easier for me to show what is going on. Also, I like the skin pulled taut so that I can easily connect with the bony structures, but you should definitely choose the position that is most comfortable for you. At the end of the day, if you are not relaxed, this treatment will only go so far. Hope that helps. Thanks for the question.

Thank you so much. I just got into sound therapy and learning all about tuning forks. It's fascinating. Treating osteoarthritis in my knee to avoid surgery. Today was my very first session and it feels good already. I have two questions? 1. My 128 C is from a set of lots of ZEN, it does not say otto, would it work the same or I need to buy another one. 2. where would I buy the gem foot you have on yours? can I put any crystal gem foot on my 128C or it needs to be a specific one. I bought your manual and love it, how precised and informative it is. wish it was paper back. .

Hi @harini jhaveri That's amazing! I am so glad you are looking into alternatives for your OA knee. The weighted tuning forks tend to be very effective for different forms of arthritis. I really hope this approach serves you well.💖 To answer your questions: 1. Your 128 C is OTTO if it has weights on the prongs. Does it have weights? OTTO is just another way of describing a weighted tuning fork. It does not need to say "OTTO" on the fork.😉 2. You can use any crystal gem foot you like! I like working with quartz, but you can get almost any crystal as a gem foot, so it really depends on what resonates most with you. If you would like the one that I use, you can find a link to purchase that in the "Resource" section of your manual, and also in the video description of any of my tuning fork videos, here on KZbin😉. I will copy the link for you here as well: biosonics.com/product/clear-quartz-gem-foot-attachment-2/ref/527/ Harini, thank you so much for purchasing my manual! 🙏 That means so much to me. I hope you are finding it useful. Might I ask you a favor? If you are willing, I would love if you could fill out my OTTO 128Hz Tuning Fork Manual testimonial form😃. As an online entrepreneur/educator, testimonials are really essential for helping to move my work forward. As a thank you for your time, I offer a 10% coupon for any other BE Light product in my store (I have more tuning fork products coming soon) + a 50% coupon to join my private BE Light Community. There is obviously zero pressure, but if you feel so compelled, here is the form to complete: www.belighttt.com/assessments/2147604598 In terms of a paper back copy, I am incredibly environmentally conscious these days, and prefer not to print things unless absolutely necessary. But if in the future I create a more robust version of the Manual, perhaps I will take your suggestion and offer a hard copy. Thank you again, and please do not hesitate to reach out with further questions. Have a great day!

Hello! I would like to ask you, if a woman has osteopenia is it dangerous to put it on her body? If yes, what can she do, in order to strengthen her bones? Thank you
@BELightTT Жыл бұрын
@user-cj2tz3py5w With any bone issue, I always recommend asking your physician. Since I teach on KZbin and am not able to assess you in-person, I always tend to err on the side of caution. On the whole, I think you will probably be fine, but it's always good to ask if the gentle vibration will cause any negative impact on the areas of bony weakness. In terms of bone health, that is not something I specialize in or teach. But I would highly recommend you check out the work of Bone Coach, Kevin Ellis. His work is amazing. Here is a link to his website: bonecoach.com/ And below, please find the answer I generally provide to people with osteoporosis (which is much more severe than your diagnosis of osteopenia). I hope it helps. OSTEOPOROSIS: I get asked about osteoporosis probably more than almost anything else. My answer may not be perfect, but here is what I like to explain to people. Τhank you so much for your answer, it is so kind of you. I would like to ask you another thing. A month ago , I had a surgery in my eyes because I had eye cataract. The doctor put permanent lences, inside my eyes. You think that it is dangerous to use the fork near my eyes? Thank you again for you interest and your kindness! 🌹
@BELightTT Жыл бұрын
@@ArtyadisAgain, I would highly advise you to ask your eye physician, as this sounds like a very specific treatment that perhaps also has very specific guidelines. In general, it will be fine to use the tuning fork around your eyes. In fact, it is quite relaxing and feels wonderful. Here is my only small hesitation. Do your permanent lenses work exactly like a natural lens? Or are they set to a specific "prescription" for your eyes? I am asking because in hearing from people in my audience, I have heard that in using the tuning forks around the eyes daily, some people no longer need their glasses! 😱The tuning fork relaxes their eye muscles and positively changes their vision. If that is a concern of yours, as regards your new lenses, then I would proceed with a little bit of caution. Again, please ask your physician his/her opinion as well. Thank you so much for this wonderful question. I hope my response is somewhat helpful. I, unfortunately, do not have all the answers.🤷♀Have a great day!💖
@Artyadis Жыл бұрын
Τhank you too, very much for your answer! About your question, my lenses have been put and stuck inside my eyes, they are not like the normal ones , which you can put them on or off. My only hesitation is because the vibrations of the fork could make them "unstuck" from the eye, like when you have metal in your leg and could be broken 💖💖💖

@@ArtyadisI understand. I wish I could be more helpful. I simply do not know enough about your procedure to be able to give you a definitive answer. I would highly encourage you to ask your eye doctor. Thank you so much again for your wonderful questions. I wish you luck on your journey.

Hello, I wish to ask whether frequency 136.10hz would be effective as 128hz? Many thanks for your support.
@BELightTT Жыл бұрын
@Param Tomanec I don't actually own a 136, so I cannot speak directly from experience, but there have been other viewers on my channel who have been using the 136.10 with success. I think it is a very nice and effective frequency. If you already have one, and you don't want to purchase a 128, then I say go for it! In the end, the only way to know if you will have a positive effect or not, is to try it out. Please let me know what you discover for yourself. I'd love to hear about your results. @@BELightTT I plan to use it 136.10 as well for Golfer's elbow.:)
@BELightTT Жыл бұрын
@@ParamTomanec It's sounds like a great idea. When you say golfer's elbow, do you mean medial epicondylitis? If so, my only caution, Param, is to be a bit careful around that exposed ulnar nerve. It might be a bit irritating to hold the vibrating tuning fork directly on the nerve itself. I would instead circle around the area. Does that make sense? In any case, go by what you feel, and don't continue anything that irritates you. Please keep me posted! I'd love to hear about your results. Thank you so much for sharing!💖
@BELightTT Жыл бұрын
@@ParamTomanec Oh, I see. Yes, so for this technique that I'm demonstrating you will definitely need a WEIGHTED tuning fork. Unweighted forks do not vibrate sufficiently. They are more for producing sound waves, but you can't really feel their vibration penetrating the tissue. Weighted forks are specifically designed for use ON the body. Yes, golfer's elbow can take a while. Are you working with a good manual therapist who can help you to release it? Also, I find for my clients, one of the biggest lifestyle changes for an issue like that is to temporarily remove the "offending activity". If you are constantly irritating the area daily, it will be very challenging for it to heal. I've honestly seen people develop this just from using their mouse too much at their computer. Do you have an idea of the activities contributing to your inflammation? I hope this helps. Keep me posted.
