I got my Seaboard in December and it took me a while to get used to it. I am comfortable with it now and I looove it. I switched from FL Studio to Logic because I wanted the full MPE capability.

I always get a smile on my face when I’ve seen that you’ve uploaded. ✊ This was mean though. I’ve been trying so hard to refrain from picking up the Roli 2 for the sake of my bank account. Yet here you are making me think about it. Great vid homegirl. 😂

Hi Courtney, I’m a hobbyist composer who works primarily with orchestral VST plugins through sample players like Kontakt. I’m looking at keyboards that can allow me to do note entry but also with the ability to combine aftertouch and CC mod wheel functions for things like strings, brass and woodwinds to try to get a more realistic sounding performance into Logic. Is this Seaboard 2 a good input device for that purpose or should I go with a more traditional midi keyboard like from M-Audio or Native Instruments like say the Hammer 88 Pro?

Thank you, Courtney. Love an Idiot’s guide to recording the Rise 2 into Logic Pro X.

HI Courtney - mostly I see that you are demo'ing the roli studio - I am having an issue where I can access the sounds from equator or studio - but the original sound on the track I have selexted in logic still plays. I cant seem to select the equator sounds or the studo sounds along in Logic or Garage band. Hmm.

Hello, what great videos of yours, thank you for your content. I am from Colombia and I come to your channel to learn. I wanted to ask you if you could suddenly recommend a 61-key Midi Controller that fits well with Logic pro X. Your suggestions would be very helpful to me. Thank you!!!

I would like to record Equator 2 instruments using the Seaboard Rise 2 in Logic Pro. Can anyone tell me where to look?

It would nice to have a discussion on how to edit a Roli performance on Logic Pro X. I worked a bit with a Seaboard Block and Logic Pro and i found that editing a MIDI recording was very, very hard, because while Logic allows to record and edit each MIDI information that compose an MPE performance, it is not really aware of the relationship between the different elements.

This is a great video idea. I'll try to cover this. It is a bit tedious editing the midi info.

I got Roli seaboard but it did not come with the Roli studio. Did I miss something? or I have to actually call them to figure out. 😭
@CourtneyHawkins Жыл бұрын
Your seaboard should come with roli studio. You may just need to make an account on Roli and enter your serial number in for the download.
