How to use the TSPROF Blitz Knife Sharpener | Unboxing, Setup and Use. Its a Nice Tool

The team at TSPROF sent me this Blitz Sharpening systen to try out. I've been a fan of guided sharpeners for years so I was happy to test this out. I'm unboxing and trying out the Blitz Standard by TSPROF. These are a really nice system. Tho only issue I had with it was when I sharpened a knife larger than the limits of this sharpener. Decided this over the Kadet for the same reason. By the time I get a knife that's too big for this thing, I'll probably already have another knife sharpener anyway. This does everything I need, and the standard kit was on sale for $350, free shipping.

Great video! I've had my blitz for over a year and love it. For anyone considering buying one, be sure to get the 360 kit. It allows you to swing the rod/stone completely out of the way while flipping the blade(if you are sharpening a kitchen knife the handle will prevent you from flipping the knife w/o removing the guide rod ). You can than use the 360 attachment as a thickness compensator like the Kadet model, which in my experience is more accurate than the compensator knob. Also I used a scrap piece of cherry wood to create a "paddle" for the flipper tab. Edit- to save money a little bit of silicon tubing works great as "stops" for the guide rod.

I got the blitz 360 last week I'm still learning how to sharpen but I love your idea for a paddle for the flip rod 👍

Very good engineering and build quality. I would make a few changes like making the thumb screws into wing nuts, just a personal preference. Nice machine but far too expensive for the average knife nut!

Is it possible that one of the extra screws, is screwed into the end of the arm so it doesn't keep sliding out? You could always tap the end to recieve a larger head screw. Very nicely made, but way to expensive for my wallet.

Doesn't changing the thickness adjustment to compensate for the smaller blade affect the angle?

would you say the TS Prof 360 is worth the money, over the KME US sharpner ? Or is the KME sharper equal.

The "Generic" photos that TSProf uses on their ads for this product are so bad, it seems like they are trying hard NOT to sell item. I am about to pull the trigger on one of these Russian/Ukrainian sharpeners. This great video just made my choice harder. I was ignoring the "Blitz" but now....
