You could use one of these: Beadalon Spiral Maker

Hm. Making spirals with 2 kinds of pliers is way quicker and I bet, it also won't be such a hassle...

Ok so I bought this after watching this and it doesn't work It keeps as you said doubling up trying to go under the ring before rather than keep outside. I held tight but nope ended up doing by hand

+lalune59 I am sorry the spiral is proving challenging. What gauge wire are you using? I will see if I can help in any way.

18 gauge

+lalune59 Hmmm, the spiral makers should work for wires up to 14 gauge. I think the stiffness of the 18 gauge wire is probably the challenge although it should still work. My only suggestion would be to try the spiral with a thinner gauge wire which should make it easier. Then once you have a few spirals down, it might be easier to work with the tool and thicker wire.

This is super easy to do with a pair of round nose pliers and a pair of chain nose pliers, and I think you will find it faster.

Too much work and just another gadget, can do it faster without it!
