on bedrock you cant use the windcharges with netherite armor, the negated knockback cancels it out

Yeah, it sucks because the people who use this a lot will likely be endgame players, and it adds another reason to not upgrade to Netherite since the smithing template was introduced. It just seems like weird game design since Netherite isn't that much of an upgrade anyway. (Its basically just enchantability and fire proof now)

You gotta time it right. For me, it works when jumping and using the charge at the exact same time, so on xbox I press LT and A at the exact same time and it launches

Y,know, they should actually completely rework the fire charge to be a throwable like the wind charge, and make it similar to a ghast fireball but weaker(or a blaze fireball too ig but it's less fun). Because we already have the flint and steel and who uses fire charges for lighting single use fires on the ground when we can use flint and steel many more times than fire charges?

well it makes sense. wind charge covers an area whereas mace basically consists of a successful hit. perhaps an enchanted mace with wind charge enchantment should work if you use it on the ground to give you a boost? but then that gives less of an incentive for the actual wind charge item.

If you miss, there really isn't anything slowing the player down from a deadly fall. However, if you land the hit successfully, the entity's corpse absorbs the momentum and the player can land safely.

Basically launch enemies somewhere else. Its fire charge minus firey stuff. It can do lots more than any other projectile.

im havin a problem where when i use a wind charge on a friends server, it does launch me but it damages me by ALOT and it also breaks dirt blocks and any other soft blocks, i tried wind charges in another world and they work exactly like in the video, can anyone explain why?

I think they're under powered honestly... very impractical to fight mobs, at distance just use an arrow lol... Only useful thing about them is the jumping thing but that's about it. You can't craft things with them, you can't create a tornado... no, they're not overpowered in my opinion
