This feature would be more helpful if the plugin understood other languages than english, like portuguese for example

Hi Ana! We agree and we are always trying to expand these features that need language-specific checks to more languages. We do have a list of features that are language-specific and we see that the transition words are implemented in Portuguese though! See the list here: yoast.com/help/features-per-language/

@@yoast thank you for answering, but I don't think this feature is working, I write transition word(s) in the paragraphs where the plugin indicates, but it doesn't recognize and, according to WP, we're using the last plugin's version

Hi Ana! The latest version is 14.4.1. Can you check if that's the version you are running? Also, is the site language set to Portuguese in Settings > General > Site Language?

If yes, can you please provide us a screenshot of how the transition words aren't detecting properly and a link to that specific post/page? 2. Does the issue occur on all content types? 3. Is this a multilingual site?
