I can’t wait to see this video Nick. My adds have just finished and I’m keen as. I have tube buddy and some of my videos are ranked at all green 100 yet haven’t produced massive views. KZbin also haven’t issued massive impressions but my SEO score is right up there and my CTR is high. Retention is above 72 percent so hopefully in time it catches a little wave and really increases my views. Thanks for another great start to a video 😊 Edit : I have the legend pack and I check both weighted and unweighted and I use incognito mode as a reference. My tags are all green as well and some rank 1 in search but I just can’t seem to get a big boost....maybe I just need to up my game 💯

Hey Nick, got a question for you. With my videos I have a 10 second sponsor clip that I have to include in every video. I've been switching it up and just placing it at the beginning (which I'm sure everyone just skips) but also trying a "hook" intro for 30 seconds or so and then doing the ad placement. Any thoughts on the best way to place ads for sponsors? Love your channel and thanks for all of your videos, it's really helped my channel out!!

Hey! It depends on what you work out with the sponsor. Most people want at least an acknowledgment at the beginning of the video somewhere but some are flexible on the placement of the actual ad. They reason they want it at the front is because that's when most people are watching. You can see in your stats if/where people are skipping. Ultimately, you want to balance video performance with sponsor placement (video for me, video for them) but if you put it towards the front some people will skip...and that's ok, sponsors know that happens. I'm happy to see you have sponsors!!!! Keep it up!

Out of curiosity, when you're using the keyword explorer tool, if the overall score for whatever it is you're searching is scored poorly under the "weighted" tab, but in contrast has an excellent score under the the "unweighted" tab, would it be ideal to pursue that tag? Assuming you are trying something new for the channel or if you wanted to change the direction of the channel to encourage growth?

Hello Nick, I am really having trouble with monetization. I just reached 1k thanks to your insightful videos but I was hit with reused content on KZbin. My videos are original so please how do I fix this

I’m such an old man. I thought Google searches acted like the old boolean searches, which is how I learned how to use professional database back in the ‘90s. It doesn’t. And it took exploring TubeBuddy for a bit to figure that out. I was literally using only single word tags in my video descriptions, and that’s only part of the answer. Thanks for showing me this.

Most of my videos had been ranking the yellow area. So close to 1000 subscribers :) now at 985.
