Am a first time gardener started this July 2021 zone 7b/NYC. I planted veggies and flowers in containers only and couldn’t have done it without watching your videos and reading your new book. I learned that worm casting will not burn your plants and that it supply nutrients to the roots and it help ward off pests in your garden. It makes your stems and leaves grow more hairs to keep insect away also the insects do not like the taste. I’m a container gardener and I struggle so much keeping the nutrients in my soil. My veggies won’t grow to a normal size. Hello Kim! Amazing, beneficial, and vital information from Mindy regarding earth worm castings and its beneficial improvements to the soil. I could tell a big difference in my raised garden beds this 2021 growing season by not having any. By not having worm castings as in prior years due to local store shortages; my garden grew slowly, had more insects, less water retention, and it was not as bountiful! Hello Kim love your channel I am new to gardening on my own. I never knew about worm castings and how they work. I have been learning alot from your channel.. I live in Southeast Louisiana I went from growing in a 5gal buckets to a raised bed and pots whe t e ever I can put them. This year was able to pickle some cucumber. I use Vermisterra worm castings and worm tea but am intrigued by Vitality. I moved to Florida (from Maryland) this year, and have started my garden this Fall in containers. I am definitely using the worm tea/castings in my containers! I learned from this video that worm castings can help with light issues; here in Sunny Florida I will definitely need that! Thanks for such an informative video and thanks, CaliKim, for inspiring me to garden however I can!

I like to add worm castings when I put in a transplant along with an organic fertilizer and soil amendments. I think it is great that worm casting or vitality helps the plants deal with stress such as heat and cold. That's great for my extreme weather. I've also heard that it helps with pests. That with all the benefits to keep plants healthy, who could pass them up.

I really like the idea that Vitality can help to reduce or eliminate pests. I plant all my vegetables in containers and have to be always fighting the pests issues. I like the fact that it is totally organic. By the way, thank you Kim for all the help you bring to us in every video, love them!

Great video and super informative. I learned that I don’t have to necessarily throw away a struggling plant (try feeding it some vitality). I have a greenhouse so I’ll definitely be amending my soil with VermisTerra worm casings henceforth.

I learned that worm castings can help decrease the number of pests! It makes sense that it boosts the plants immune system to better equip them to ward off insects. I'll definitely start using it more often and I'm looking forward to getting my hands on some Vitality!

Great video! I learned that worm castings can help plants deal with extremes in temperature, can help them become stronger to fight off pests and can boost the nutritional value of the plants you grow. Thank you, both, for teaching us about Worm Castings, Worm Tea, & Vitality. I've been using Worm Castings & Worm Tea for the past year (I think!). My plants are gorgeous & producing a lot! My Tiny Tim Tomato finally has some little green tomatoes on it, & lots of blooms! That's all thanks to ya'll!! I've learned that giving my plants good nutrition is like giving myself the same!!
