This night owl used to pull all-nighters all the time. I try to get daily sunshine and sleep in the dark. I made a huge change 2 years ago! I go to bed at 8 pm and often sleep peacefully until 5 am. This schedule has revolutionized my life!

@@sl4983 I watched KZbin - check out stuff about Adrenal, Adrenal Fatigue and just plain Sleep. I start every night with my “good morning list”, which sets me up for a great day. First thing on the list is to tidy the house, the second thing is to actually put on pajamas and wash my face and all that stuff but I have a list or I will forget to do it. I never had pajamas. I just fell asleep however I was. When I first started, I used some melatonin, a sleep mask, lavender essential oils in the diffuser, and thunderstorm videos on KZbin. Some are 10 hours long. But as time has gone on, I haven’t had to do that. I set my alarm to go off at 8 PM. That is when I start my nighttime routine. Oh how I hate routines! Oh how much they have helped me! Good luck. I am not a doctor. Do what works for you. Try this stuff and if that doesn’t work tweak it until it does. They say to get sunshine in your eyes without sunglasses. They say to put your feet in the dirt during the day. I also tried jumping on a trampoline during the day. Dry brushing. I tried everything I could get my hands on. The stuff I mentioned above is what worked for me.

@@sl4983 when I first started, I was a fanatic at exactly getting to bed between 8 and 9 PM. After a while I could fiddle with that number and still wake up at 4 AM without an alarm. However, per my usual, I overdid the fiddling and had to go back to being strict for a while. I still wake up between 3 and 5 AM without an alarm.

Just give me a bed, pillow and blanket . If you have a problem sleeping pick up a Bible and see how fast you will fall asleep. Or declare this scripture over you Psalm 127:2 In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat- for He grants sleep to those He loves.

Treating any possible sleep apnea is going to be a game changer, along with this great information. I don’t sleep as I should be sleeping all the time, and I have bad habits as well, because, well, life happens right? But start taking little baby steps to start these practices and watch things improve. Awesome

Go to sleep earlier so you have an opportunity for 8 full hours in bed. Wake up 3 hours before work. I usually get up , make coffee and exercise first thing in the morning. But when those random nights of tossing and turning actually do occur, you can still set the alarm for an extra 2 hours and 15 minutes before you have to go into your “getting ready for work routine”. Even in the event that you may not have slept well, you can stay in bed for 10 full hours of complete bed rest if you need it that morning. You will start to associate mornings with excitement instead of dread. I used to wake up and look at the clock and when I would see that I didn’t have much time left to sleep, I felt miserable knowing that I didn’t have much time left to sleep. But once I shifted my sleep schedule back like I mentioned, you will start associating waking up with wonderful coffee and exercise mornings and having time to get your peace before work.

I am so happy by this Video specially as a PhD engineering in renewable energy and hybrid propulsion, I always switch off everything in the bedroom or if I want to give the iPad for one hour to my daughter I switch off the wifi and all the connections, cause their body is smaller than us and they can't support the EMF as us... Also people who buy new houses they should pay attention around the new location if they have these EMF from high voltage installation, also limited the use of Bluetooth applications. As a scientific, I love technolgy, but we should balance and give a rest for our body to recharge like go for a walk without phones In the wild away from all that, walking without shoes is good to let the body take out all this storage energy... Than k you Dr Berg ❤️ first Dr who really speaks about that it's amazing

Sooo wise! When I wake up, I feel better than I did when I was tired but I sadly wake up more than once like a light sleeper and then have to use the restroom and go back to sleep. I hate that! Whenever I have dreams, I’m so grateful because I feel like I achieved sleeping and dreaming which may be helpful because I want toxic substances washed out of my body with the spinal fluid I heard can do such a thing. I know the body heals when we are sleeping and the immune system is strengthened. I watched this video to improve my sleep for me and my teen daughter and even to advise my adult son. I pray for us all to be able to eat, sleep and exercise well. May we have good health, and safety.

Choose a place as a connection chamber where all digital cables starts from. C) Switch off Wifi if you don't use it. D) If your wifi router have transmit power adjustment, set it to the lowest possible. E) Keep distance from your mobile phone. F) Prefer Wifi apps like What's up and Viber. Thank you! I’m a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP - INFJ, Sigma). I’ve noticed that my nervous system/s have been a mess for more than four decades! But. I’m “fixing” the problems one by one by seeking to soothe the root of each problem (versus masking them). I had the unexplainable intuition that EMF (& even possibly intense CMEs) *somehow* affected my sleep. So, last year, I began to experiment. I stopped playing with my phone in bed. I unplugged most electronics (fans, heaters, laptop, etc.) in my bedroom. I began to sleep in blinding darkness. I also began to refuse to use indoor/outdoor lights during dark hours. Anxiety melted away. I slept better. I had more energy to be awake while awake! But I had no true understanding till today, when I saw your video! 🎉

Thank you Dr. Berg for explaining the sleeping problems. I do suffer from chronic insomnia which is why I can’t sleep at night. If I do, I usually wake up around 3:00 am and that’s it, I cannot go back to sleep. Sleeping just 3 to 4 hours is not good because when I get up, I am feeling tired. My question is: Taking melatonin before sleep, would help my insomnia??? And what is better: Melatonin or Valerian herb? I refuse to take any sleeping pills, and I won’t. Thank you 🙏🏻 for sharing your expertise in nutrition to take care of problems without having any surgeries or taking sleeping pills, It is appreciated. 👍👍👍

I think it would have been helpful if when you were showing the different frequency measurements with the EMF meter, to include what the range of severity those levels represent. So if the magnetic or RF range showed an 8, is that high, low, etc? How harmful are the different levels? What level is considered mild, and what is extreme or most influential on a person?

I suffered severe adrenal fatigue and always woke up exhausted and pretty much remained that way all day everyday. It wasn't until I made a drastic leap of faith and moved out of the city to retire and concentrate on healing myself that I started watching your videos and have made useful the information I have gained. It's taken two years of working on my sleep cycle and slowly replenishing my body with the proper nutrients and I am finally starting to feel the difference, I had many years of terrible diet and overwork and stress and above all sleep deprivation. (4hrs a night for over 20yrs!) So it took a concentrated effort but much of the advice you've given has helped me tremendously. I'm still not 100% but I can now feel I'm on the path. Thanx Doc!

@Kentavious444
@Kentavious444 2 жыл бұрын
@@sl4983 It took me close to two years and I'm still working on it. I knew I had to change my diet and eliminate all carbs (not easy) and I made it a priority to sleep even for an hour whenever I could. Intermittent fasting also helped I think because I had a bad habit of snacking before bed or having coffee in the evening. I eventually forced myself to go to bed at the same time every night (sleepy or not) and I got a "fitbit" watch to track my sleep levels. It took awhile, but my sleep slowly improved. I was only getting 4hrs a night on average for many years but I now get a minimum of 6hrs. I've successfully slept over 8hrs several times now, so I'm hoping to do that more often. I think it is important to mention I had retired from my job before attempting this. If I was working my high pressure job it would be impossible. But now that I've had time to work on myself I am starting to remember what it's like to be human again.

Sitting an hour to 2 hours in this light makes me super sleepy. I used to be exactly the same. As we get older we naturally start to carry extra weight. This can interfere with your breathing patterns in deep sleep. Got tested for sleep apnea and went on Cpap therapy. Changed my life. The reason you’re waking up with sleep apnea is because you temporarily stop breathing because your air way can close and suppress your breathing and the brain kicks in and says hey stupid you’re not breathing wake up. Seriously, nearly half the people with sleep apnea go undiagnosed and suffer through poor sleep their entire lives. Now I get 7 to 8 hours a night and sleep straight through.
