I like that speed too. Then I can see nature better and it calms me.

Loving your channel, can you reveiw your pace? Is it 3 miles per hour you mentioned?

Hiya. What do you track more: achieving 6 miles or getting 14000 steps? I think for me 6 miles will come to about 12000 steps so was wondering. Thank you

I do quite a bit of HIIT and strength training but there are so many days when I have to just walk, because of my wrist popping and some mild pain, it makes it hard to get on the floor doing burpees, mountain climbers, etc. I love walking though! Being out in nature is my favorite place to be honestly 😊

Do you speed walk or just walk at a normal pace?

Do your home steps count as well?

6 miles would take me 3 hours, 3000 steps, so it's not possible every day. I comprise by doing physio every day and a long walk ( up to 10 miles) twice a week.

Your feet gotta be in good condition to walk that far. Somebody with plantar fasciitis might not can walk that much in one day. I have plantar fasciitis and want to start walking. Realistically, I’m shooting for 1 to 3 miles a day to start. And bought me a lot of Skechers shoes to begin. 😊

I have plantar fasciitis also. The shoes that help me the most for walking are Vionic and ASICS.

6 miles a day isn't for me. I'm happy doing a 30 minute walk and can't always fit that in. Retired and in my 60s. Also can't do it when you I baby sit the grandkids. I'm doing ok wit the 8 hr window of eating.
@annade2094 Жыл бұрын
if you do the 6 miles all in once shot, how long does it take?
@radicalcartoons2766 Жыл бұрын
Takes me 3 hours 😂

Time yourself to see how long it takes you to walk a mile. That will give you an idea of how long it will take you. The more you walk the faster it will take you to walk that mile and less time to finish.

I cant walk 6 miles a day now cuz i hurt my back and my sciatica is overwhelming
@singerjo5791 Жыл бұрын
I had sciatica years ago. Pilates and yoga helped tremendously. I stretch and walk daily. That keeps it at bay.

Walking is so boring for me tho.
@DeionHarris Жыл бұрын
thats true so you have to try and spice it up but i will tell u this if u walk outside its not boring at all but if u in the house on the treadmill yea its boring but outside no because u have the people and u observing things and looking at things and then u have other people who might be doing what u doing and u get ur phone and play music and jazz it up
@amandadenny1490 Жыл бұрын
I do challenges. I tell myself to walk faster from point A and Point B. The. Sometimes I turn around and walk backwards from one house to the next to give my legs a new way of moving. I like to listen to music as well or ha e someone walk with me 😊

I walked the Camino de Santiago and gained weight. Not a lot, but it was a gain. I lost 20kgs on keto, omad and fasting while lying in bed during lockdown.
