I've thought about starting OMAD a few times. Today is my first day. I'm 337 lbs. Praying that I stick to it. 🙏

I started at 285 on 10/4 I am now 243 . Lost 42# . And really don’t feel like I'm dieting. I eat with my family and eat what I want. I love it.

i was reminiscing about how i used OMAD to lose 130lbs and how since i *stopped* doing it (i still need to lose around 40) i've been on an emotional and stressful rollercoaster with food, and plateaued (not gained it back!) i don't know why i stopped! it was my life for years. the only big change i had was being WAY more active so it felt harder i think. but i'm going back to it, and just needed to come to youtube to find some encouragement. thanks for this.

I am on day 30 of OMAD today. I have also got so much better at my portions- so not overeating anymore! I don’t feel hungry at all during my fasting period! I drink weak/light black tea and black coffee. Struggling with drinking water. Only one glass of water every few days!

I am on my 23rd day of OMAD! Going well so far- though still figuring out how not to overeat! I will get there and will post in future. Really appreciate your videos and success stories.

Brilliant about the simplification especially. I’ve had so much energy due to no constant insulin spikes that I’ve declutterred my entire wardrobe, life is now so much easier! And I’m day 21 and not hungry ever anymore, I now have a simp,e retired life, can enjoy my family, horses and pets more and have so much time for them. Thankyou

Thanks for the video! Do you find it hard to go back to it after the “cheat day”? On days that I have a longer window, I find that I am more hungry the day after. Also do you feel that taking the cheat day improves your metabolism? I’ve heard that switching it up is good but I have a hard time when I do an up day/down day approach. Thank you ❤

I’m a little confused about how to do this. Is it strict fasting and just one meal, no snacks? Nothing in your mouth except one meal?

Nothing but water. Black coffee. .tea. nothing else.

The point of OMAD is no snacks or drinks containing calories - avoiding anything that will trigger an insulin response. Insulin is a fat storage hormone which will stop you from burning fat. See Dr Jason Fung for more info

I'm only a minute and 30 seconds into the video but I do want to comment something before I forget. Children and teenagers need tons of food because they are growing and they have very large appetites don't forget. From my personal experience I remember being so hungry all the time growing up I could eat an entire fridge LOL. Okay Carry on. 😊.

I find religious symbols in weight loos advice rather unsuitable and offensive.
