How To Walk On A Concrete Tile Roof

One of our Home Inspectors from Allegiance Home Inspection points out some things to look for on a concrete tile roof. It is important to only step on the overlapping sections of the tile to avoid cracking them.
As a home inspector if you observe cracked tiles from your ladder it is probably best to not traverse the roof and recommend a qualified contractor make a full assessment of the repair and replace any cracked or damaged tiles as needed.

Sometime things move a bit when they’re stepped on. I this case the individual concrete tiles can rub on each other making some noise. Also, no.
