Can we maybe build Contact?

That means that you need to do more sets and then slowly put up the weight. That will then build more neurons. With split squats you automatically recruit more neurons and build them up. A very good book is The Charlie Francis Training System.

This is such a good channel 👏🏼 love the simple yet scientific approach. Do you delve into barefoot sprinting much?

Anyone know why I can only squat 265 because I am able to Bulgarian split squat 70s on each side. So u would assume I should be able to squat at least 280 pounds since I’m squatting 140 per leg. I can post a video of my squat if needed. And also assuming my form is correct, would that mean it is because of a weak lower back?

it's not really 140 per leg, u still produce force in both legs to drive urself up when u split squat

If my memory does not fail me, a research concluded that the coordination needed to execute a normal squat (with 2 leg i mean) causes a dispersion of the nervous signal, causing the non total recruitment of the muscles involved, decreasing the total possible force generated. For example, if u do pistol squat with each leg, it doesn't automatically means u can squat double your bodyweight. I think what u have is totally normal

Split squats have a greater total muscle coordination than squats probably cos it’s more difficult due to the one leg use nature
@billybob66042 жыл бұрын
because your body is more adapted to split squats if you want to get better at squats you need to do more squats because the stabilizing muscles are more specific for squats compared to the muscles needed to stabilize for split squats
