How many days does it take to benefit from power training? I went from about 10.5 to if I recall 9.6 projected 100m in 3 days of doing 2 set high intensity clean. Maintained after that with 2 to 4 set light triples? For running itself you probably should run for some days before an event? Five? Ten? Could it be three? for the young growing aspiring athlete it isn’t important at all? You need weight room strength. Strength in your hips of course!? and strength in your legs also!?

I've been sprinting for awhile and personally for me the biggest thing that helped was cold water. First thing in the morning I put cold water on my thighs. I feel like it activates them because it becomes easier to move. And after the training I use cold water again. I'm at a the point that I recover faster because before my legs hurt so bad I could barely walk or jog the next day.

My son needs help with this but running in basketball. He has great lateral movement and is a defensive stopper but on a fast break he looks so awkward running

idk wat u means but i think it's what i think a good tip would be. So, when your running act as if the walls or whatever is at your sides are coming slowly towards you and the more forward you go the more time u have.

I totally agreed at the start of the video when it spoke of teams needing to implement sprint training. Virtually every team sport that involves running should include sprint specific training into their regimen as a means to improve sprint form and speed. This is one of the main things that most team sports lack in my opinion. Very well said

45 Male here. Started sprinting a year ago off and on. In Arizona, its too hot too sprint May-Sept, even at night but for flat grass optimal conditions, just find a public high school near where you live and use their football field after school is out or weekends. Usually empty and its an engineered flat surface that is optimal running or you can just use the track if it is cork

Question: Is it better to add a 2nd day of sprinting, or increase the intensity of a single day if we are recovering well and feel we can add?
