So my starters are a bit shorter and I have 4c. A friend said I should wear a stocking cap and wash over the cap. My preferred shampoo/conditioner is trader joe's tea tree. Pre-locs I only washed every other week. I don't feel like I have hella buildup. Thoughts/advice? I know I won't get the scalp "scrubbed" this way

I good thing to use after washing is to put oil in ur dreads so they don't dry out from the shampoo so u don't have breakage

All I’ve been using for maintenance is lion pic gel and when I retwist my starter locs I use Jamaican mango and lime beeswax since my hair is 4c the wax can take it. But yeah that’s all I do and add oil with water to my scalp daily
