I think it's better to watch hellsing 2001 first as it actually spends time establishing hellsing as an actual organisation and giving victoria screentime and development unlike ultimate where she jumps from having no idea whats going on in 1 scene to being a super soldier in 2 and then turning into a tank and a navy combined in 3rd

Complete BS, Hellsing 2001 establishes Hellsing as an actual organisation unlike Ultimate which just makes it seem like its Alucard and Walter and a bunch of palace guards, 2001 Gives Victoria screentime and time for character development while Ultimate has shitty pacing, skips any character development and half the anime is just the final battle with barely any plot. In my opinion if you want a full expierence start with Hellsing from 2001 and get to know the characters then watch Hellsing Ultimate for the super duper ultra battle, it has way better animation, some funny moments which 2001 doesn't have, in my opinion a better soundtrack but it has terrible pacing and as I said half of it is just one final battle with little buildup before. (the goat Anderson is better in Ultimate tho)
