Sadly you have to wait to the end of the video to see that you need to slide the door lock tongue back in a bit to get the door lock light on. So magnet n slide tongue back in slightly. Got it.

Any idea how to do it on Simpson washer from Australia it doesn't lock it just stops the cycle when you lift the lid I've ordered some really strong magnets I have a feeling there's a magnet each side of the lid

Who decided we cant fll our water manually?? Theyre my clothes. So frustrating. Also looking for a permanent fix to open amd close the door.

that's a fine hack for one off uses. but im looking for something permanent. i wonder if you could dremmel off the part of the lid that sits below the tab. so it senses the magnet and the bump-stop, but there is simply nothing below it to catch...
