Nothing I know of works in the app - you need to access the noscript version with a browser -- so any browser will work.

@@majorgeeks I tried on Google Chrome (because I wanted to cast in on my Chromcast dongle on my TV) but the advertisements started back. There is a big screen on my laptop without any comments field. I thought it worked just as you mentioned. But after 7 min the adverts start coming back, again and again after 7-8min intervals. Looks like there is no respite with the onslaught of advertisements. I loose interest in watching the movie. 😪

Or press the "back-arrow" and then the "forward-arrow" again (on the left top of the KZbin window, left of the refresh button). The video will start playing too without the ad.

It doesn’t work all of the time now. Sometimes it has to be done a couple to 3 times. But it also doesn’t stop internal ads. This trick does that. Problem is. It has to be done every single video & can’t be used on apps

If you have a smartphone you can use the VPN as described. Then you can cast the video from your phone to your TV if it's connected to the same Wi-Fi network. I watch a lot of KZbin and I would n't watch the ad version. It's worth it to me to pay 12 bucks to get by all that crap. Course now the video presenters are advertising their wares too so that's so capitalism

Which brand of tv? With LG you can root the webOS and install a new App Store with an ad-free KZbin. You might be able to get an alternative YT app on a TV running Android. I don’t think there is anything available yet for Samsung TVs.

Ads are baked in to the youtube app. You have to use either the revanced app or the kiwi browser with the adblock origin chrome extension (you can run chrome desktop extensions in kiwi).
