Thanks again for this video. I can't believe how easy it was to do this. I have the old style dispenser that was all plastic on the end and it had been broken for years. I tried just using the hose that was already in the refrigerator and it was curved at the end, so once I got everything back together it was spraying water behind the cup. I took it apart again and installed the new hose and only added a couple minutes to the total installation time. It is so easy to install the hose that there is no reason to skip it. I would have had no idea where to start on this without your video, so thank you for possibly saving me hours of work!

Is the old bracket (one with valve) the same as the new one? Can we just replace the flexible pipe re-using the old bracket? Thanks!

Excellent! I just had my refrigerator diffuser damper go out and decided to finally order this part as well. Looks like this is the exact same model as my refrigerator, only in white. He might have a model similar to mine, the WR17X11324, which does not allow access to the hose from the front - I have the same problem and it appears one has to pull the inside of the freezer door out (which is fixed with some kind of adhesive). But I am not sure, so your help would be great...

I have whirlpool refrigerator model # ED5FVGXWS00. I stay in apartment and when main water supply is turned off for maintenance in apartment it has water leak from refrigerator water dispenser. I changed “dispenser water tube kit” and “water valve” but it did not fix this issue. I ran 4 gallon of water to remove all air bubble but it didn't help. Finally I changed water valve as well and that didn't help. Any suggestion on how to fix this issue. Once water main water supply is turned on there is small leak (half glass of water in a day) but it’s big amount of leak when main water supply is turned off for apartment maintenance

Hm. Does it leak if you shut the water off yourself, or only when the water is turned off in the whole building?
