depends on how many slates a year you will be playing and whether or not they're going to be playing the mini-max games. $250 for a season doesn't require one, but $250 every main slate, I would 100% recommend.

As a dfs player isn’t it recommended to not use all salary to differentiate your lineup of you want to not tie. Love the content it helped me alot last year

When you build a model on Labs, do you prioritize the higher +/- number, higher R squared All time, or higher R Squared for the current season?

I don't worry about the Model. It only effects the rating column and I don't build lineups by rating.

One thing I noticed quite a bit in the past is people who levitate to the top, or at least jump ahead of me, many times have backup RBs or WRs who get double digit points. I can't get myself to do that, unless it's Kareem Hunt. People are really gambling on backups, and when it happens, it catapults them ahead of others. They hit on a backup or two, and their lower salaries allowed them to pay up in other areas. Does Rotogrinders or Fantasy Labs ever use 2nd string players?

Half the time the backups are going against their former team and the coaches know the player will be extra motivated to play well. Other times the starting RB might have had a lot of carries from a game that went into overtime or coming back from injury/suspension. So the next game the starter will play but the touches will be limited to avoid running the player into the ground. Its rarely ever just luck that the backups go up.

Anything that helps you win money more consistently, saves you time, makes you better, is worth it. At the very least, a YT channel membership gets you into the community discord and that's only like $5 a month.

IMO - getting a good set of projections and ownership projections is vital. I subbed to ETR for the first time last season, it was worth it. Ended up getting their NBA stuff as well.

Can you make a video breaking down how BEST BALL works on DK or Underdog? Like I get how best ball works generally but how's it scored and how is a winner determined when you have thousands on entries. And how does that change the strategy vs 12 friends just playing a best ball league

Hey Al, had an issue trying to build with some single stack QB/WR mixed with some double stacks QB/WR/WR and it seems to always pick the single stacks. I tried to add correlations if lineup includes QB then increase WR2 and WR3 by 10%. I did about 5 teams and then it wouldn't run and gave an error... everything else worked fine and it works with one team correlation but not more than 1. This happen to you before? Thanks! -CTLegacy P.s. is the increase/decrease affecting exposure or projections?? actually that might be my issue

Every week I look at the Sharks lineups, shake my head and say 'they are not using what we are using'...but I still play so it doesn't matter.

@@csmith80 This is exactly how I go about building lineups on the optimizer every single week and the base set of rules that I start with going into any main slate. It's not always some crazy conspiracy theory.

I used these rules last year and I was successful. Everyone plays different that’s the beauty of it. He’s just trying to help people get in the best position. Then you gotta get lucky. There’s always players that pop off that no one was stacking
