The Strikers Clinch, also known as the Muay Thai Clinch is a vital part of fighting in many combat sports such as Muay Thai, Kickboxing, Wrestling and BJJ. In MMA a failed Takedown often ends in a Clinch, defending a takedown can require the Clinch, and it is also important for close range fighting.
