In this video, I focus on how to correctly wire in the tachometer and tilt trim gauges with a Yamaha F70 outboard engine. This should work with any F series engine. I cover on which wires to connect too for the Tach as well as for the tilt/trim. I'm using Teleflex Gauges in this Classic Montauk Restoration but the wiring would be the same for Faria or other non OEM gauges.
I've done several Internet searches and noted that there some but limited information on these two. There seems to be more for the tach but you really have to dig to find anything on the tilt-trim.
