ok, I'm confused. 1) are you using a dongle? 2) are you using a laptop with intel widi? if not, I'm really confused. I have a dell xps. trying to setup widi.. got a new samsung telly, it sees the pc once allshare is setup, but allshare won't see any screens. similar story on the intel end. thanks in advance for any answers/elaborations!

you do not need a 3th party program for streaming to your TV. the only thing you need is a network connection with your TV and a homegroup that is configurated to share your video,s pic's and other files you wish to share with your devices.

Have installed AllShare working well with my Smart Sumsung TV with ONLY an inconvinient: every 15 minutes or soo stops playing and I have to start the conexión again, having to guess, using fastforward, the approximate played parts to continue the viewing of the film.. Anyone has the same problem or have a suggestion what causes it? Thanks in advance for your help.

DjHardDriver set up a homegroup on your PC and put your videos in the shared folder, and your smart tv should auto detect your PC (through the homegroup) as long as it's a smart tv. just press source button and you should see your PCs,

Well after owning my own computer repair store & working with PC's for more than a decade I can announce that the AllShare software is a pile of shit. It's full of bugs, it doesn't retain the TV (UA55D6000) - Samsung, stick to making TV's & let someone else build the software.
