After struggling for two years on and off, it finally clicked in my head. I was struggling because I was attempting to learn a magic circle, but your videos & grid patterns are what got me to understand. Now I can do a chain stitch, slip stitch, single crochet & double crochet-thanks to you! Thank you sooo much ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you so much for your great video. I'm going to show it (and your blog) in a beginning crochet class I'm teaching at my library. Thanks again!

I wish I could do this! I've watched this video so many times and at .25 speed and still cannot figure it out. I can make a chain fine but the second one cannot be done. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Seems simple enough but nope. I appreciate your videos because you helped me figure out how to make a simple chain. That's my limit now with crochet just a chain.

Samme , have you figured it out?

I was the same way, but I kept at it until I got it right. I made myself a hat, but the only problem was a really didn't measure it and it was too small. I gave it to a friend's granddaughter who was 2. But at least I was able to actually, finish a project. Keep at it. It's very relaxing and you feel good about finishing a project. Good luck. 👍

Maybe a silly question, but do you always (generally, each row) skip the first stitch when turning into a new row? Thank you so much!

I kind of wish that you had a closeup view, because it’s hard to see where you’re sticking the hook to make each stitch. I know, because I’m not a beginner, but I’m looking for a video to share with beginners. This video was great, except the lack of a closeup, and an explanation that you stick the hook under the top two bars of yarn.

Some people like crocheting you might not, but it’s the fact that you watched the whole video and then put a 6 letter word.
