DNA motoring headers are actually really nice, I ran a set with thier x pipe on a c5 corvette and they were the best fitting headers I ever owned ,easiest to install never cracked leaked etc. DNA good company

What are the advantage of wrapping it? Less heat in the engine bay? And the pure white wrap?

Blazer 9 It keeps under hood temps down and keeps the exhaust flowing faster by keeping it hotter in the pipe. The more spread out the exhaust molecules are the slower it moves so keeping them hot and compacted it helps flow better.

Some people wrap headers to act as a heat shield as they do not want the wires/hoses/etc being exposed to the heat.

Speed daddy has a K&N type air filter that looks as good as the real K&N, and its as cheap as a regular disposable filter. For my Subaru, the factory OEM filter is around $20 , the K&N is around $50. The speed daddy reusable filter was 12 bucks. and it is a very high quality filter.

Is the header wrap to just keep a turbo setup cool or?

Dustin Ninja It keeps the engine heat down in the engine bay cooler so less heat soak, also keeps exhaust grouped together better for a faster flow and as the exhaust cools it spreads out and slows down a lot.

Real titanium wrap does not have fiberglass in it the eBay stuff does. Those headers will rust regardless reason you should coat them prior either with high temp spray paint or expensive coating. Since that wrap has fiberglass it should be coated so it will last longer. The headers will rust at the welds first and the stainless will become pitted and rust the wrap will hold moisture. They will last maybe 2 years before rusting and cracking.

I've found this out just recently, the weld cracked on a "new" pipe I unwrapped it and found a rusty header like an old junk!! 😳 would the high temp paint help prevent this?? I may try that on the new one just don't want to have same problem 🙃
