i used a similar thing to PEEL but it was called it CREEW C - Claim R - Reason E - Evidence E - Explain W - Warrant

If I’m writing a paper about why it’s important to keep shoes clean it would look something like this- Claim “Shoes should be cleaned after every use” Reason “Shoes get dirty every time they are used and cleaning them often will make them look new all the time” Evidence “For example, the shoe company Nike recommends or all of their buyers to take good care of their shoes by cleaning them often” Explain “Nike is a well established company and their advice on how to maintain shoes is to benefit their customers” Warrant “It is important to clean shoes after every use to keep them looking good” Idk of it did it right tbh bc I haven’t used creew in a while but it should something look like that

The topic sentence is the main idea. It’s usually a broad idea. The Thesis Statement essay’s opening paragraph based on the topic sentence. It is clear and concise. It’s basically the same thing except the Topic Sentence is a broad idea, while the Thesis statement is a defined and defendable statement.
