I would say that at the end of the day, the thesis is the most important part of your essay. However, you can't just state your thesis statement and walk away. You must back it up with research and evidence. Make sure to have at least three pieces of evidence that you can use to back up your thesis statement. Well, If you are tired of essays, term papers, quizzes, research projects, and more, I am here for you. Email me. My work is always top-notch and I take confidentiality very seriously. If you're ready for a great homework helper, email me. I can also do entire online classes.

Well in my opinions, I think he meant by that asking questions will helps you understand what you are going to write before you start writing and it will make it more easier for you to write instead of writing everything then get misplaced by paragraphs to paragraphs.

BEST ENGLISH TEACHER EVER I ACTUALLY UNDERSTAND THINGS WISH MY ENGLISH TEACHER WAS THIS MOTIVATING AND ENERGETIC
@hanniehmar88853 жыл бұрын
Up until high school I never realized just how important it was that the teacher was enjoying what he was teaching, I migrated to another country at 15 and up until then I didn’t enjoy studying at all. Meeting friends was the only thing fun about school, but in this new country not only is the educational system different most teachers genuinely love what they are teaching and you could actually see it in their actions, their eyes and their eagerness to help the students understand. It completely changed the negative perception I have of teachers. I started enjoying studying and my grades increased meaningfully, it had little to do with me, I only have my teachers to praise for giving me the motivation I needed through their teaching. They truly don’t get enough praise and recognition they deserve.

You are the English teacher that I wish I had. Everything is straight to the point and uncomplicated. My current English teacher is rather lackadaisical in teaching. He preaches the class after every essay but does not present to us how we can fix our issues. You on the other hand do not even know the issues I have with writing yet your teachings still help tremendously! Thank you

Anyone who takes the time to "TEACH" another is someone who cares and wants to see others do well. Can it be any more obvious? This man is amazing and has helped plenty of people based on the comments written by people who appreciate him and learning in general. Pay no mind to those that comment in a negative manner because they are a bit upset because they are unable to grasp the concepts of learning anything in their own lives. I think you are fantastic and you should continue doing videos. :)

In high school, I was told by one or two teachers to NOT ask a question. However, I think in college things like that are a little less strict...
@shaneduckworth728810 жыл бұрын
I think you're a bit confused about the question thing. What teachers mean when they say that is that your thesis should not BE a question. Your thesis should be the answer to the question and your essay will be about exploring and proving that answer. For instance, if you're asked to write a character analysis from the Harry Potter series, you start by asking questions: "Why did J. K. Rowling make up a character like...Nevel or Dobie or Snape?" "What role does that character play--physically, emotionally, philosophically?" For instance, if I picked Snape I could ask questions about who he really is (as opposed to how he showed himself throughout the books) and what lessons Rowling was maybe trying to teach us through this character. I might even be able to draw from real live people who chose to hide their true selves for the greater good (watch Valkyrie w/ Tom Cruise). My thesis would grow out from my answers to these questions. The real first step of an essay is to ask questions then RESEARCH for the answer. It's not to come up with your thesis and then "prove" it. This leads to looking for information that supports your thesis rather than allowing your thesis to develop from your understanding of a topic. Hope that clears things up for you.
@DeersThrone10 жыл бұрын
Aaah, that makes sense! Thank you. I see the difference.
@watnyAbellard10 жыл бұрын
It's ironic you said in high school, however, you don't truly learn much in high school, but in college where it's very hard. You must be someone willing to past his or her tests.Who am I? I'm just a guy who is in college who knew something was wrong last year when I failed my mid term, so since that time I have been on a journey of learning effective ways to study.
