I have started my program as an international designate on June 2023 and should have started filling out for PER, but I haven't. I read that we should submit it every 6 months. Does that mean my 1 year of work experience already expired? I cannot send it for PER anymore?

Hi, is there any way to get help for writing PER!? I received two level 0 for the MA and FR I submitted, as CPA believe, I gathered data instead of preparing the reports. It seems I failed to explain it properly.

Hi Gevorg, thanks for the video. I initially submitted past experience and was awarded 12 months prior experience. I then got my current role approved with effective PER start date of September 2018. I have completely missed on submitting reports and haven't submitted any since then. Do you recommend I submit a report to cover from then until now? Or submit several late reports to say cover September 2018-September 2019, September 2019-2020, etc. I am writing the CFE in September... Thanks. Should I stress about this now or just get over with the CFE and tackle this? I am hoping this doesn't delay me getting my CPA. I currently have the "Core" competency checked off.

Why is LLP offices bad ?

My reviewer always say my examples are not complex enough for Level 2. I really don't know how complex it should be to achieve Level 2.

Complex means tasks where the solution isn’t clear because factors are 1) ambiguous, 2) interrelationship between the variables is unclear. Basically, use these two buzzwords in your examples ("The solution wasn't clear because the factors were ambiguous and the interrelationship between the variables was unclear. This is because.... (explain why)" Then write that you did some digging, researched and figured out what is the conclusion is (be specific), then write what you recommended and the impact to the stakeholders. Hope to release my course soon so that you have good examples to learn from.

Hi Gevorg, one question: I am currently taking the EVR route and I have submited one report. If I successfully have my current office to change to a PPR, when I report my prior working experience at this office that happened before the transition, will the reports still be considered under PPR or under EVR?

If a student is leaving the PPR program at the public firm for an EVR route in the industry, does it mean that his prior PPR experience would be forfeited as well?

It depends on the job duties in the new EVR job. Some experience may get carried over, some may get lost. I'm getting conflicting answers from PERT - some provinces say it will be forfeited, others say it will be carried over. It doesn't seem they have a consistent policy on how to handle this. They assess it on case-by-case basis.

@@alanmt8819 Heard recently from my student who switched from public practice to Sr Financial Analyst role (PPR to EVR) in Ontario and they carried over all the experience in PPR. He had to fill out only 1-2 more items. Hope it works out for you too.
